Did I just read that Cleveland should give up Carrasco so they can have Josh Harrison? To be fair they said Pittsburgh would need to add a prospect, but I’m fairly sure they didn’t mean a Glasnow, Taillon, Meadows type one.
joew
Really doubt Harrison is going anywhere this season. Kang’s continued and compounding legal troubles are screwing up plans for the infield.

I thought the same thing! That’s ridiculous!

I don’t want Sale I want Archer.
Mallex, Newcomb, Riley & Wentz get it done ????

I am in the same boat as you. I’d rather not pay the price for Sale. The above mentioned When Sid Slid blog had a good take on it. But I doubt the offer they made (or the one you did either) gets Archer. If any way possible I’d rather protect Swanson, Albies and even Maitan. Maybe something along the lines of Wisler, Newcomb, Riley, Wentz, and Demeriite? Not sure that gets it either.

I think Sale will be with the dodgers or Nationals, And Giolito and Urias will have to be heading back to the white sox for the deal to happen
Bruin1012
I think Sale is staying right where he is now I’ll bet he is with the White Sox on opening day unless they trade him for much less than it appears. Dodgers are not trading Urias the Phillies might trade Giolito plus a lot more. The Phillies just might go for it this year.

Phillies?

Meant Nats sorry.

Amazing! Six notes about the Blue Jays and only 1 about the entire AL Central. This regular feature on MLBTR needs to widen its view of other teams’ blogs. I know Toronto has to replace Bautista and EE, but there are storylines of interest for every team.
