My reaction with the Minter question: last season, Jim Johnson was allowed to blow 8 saves before he was removed as the closer around the start of August. Since Snitker is the manager again, I believe the same thing will happen.

That is the worst advise that could be given and flies in the face of MLB’s Pitch Smart program and the advice of renowned Surgeons like the late Dr. Jobe. Dr. Andrews, Dr. Ahmad, Dr. Fleisig etc. They ONLY reason to have it is a torn UCL…nothing else.

I think the braves would want to build up Minter’s durability a little bit more before moving him into a closers role.
