Clevinger signed a two year contract so his name should be removed

I agree with that. I wonder what Kris Bryant and Francisco Lindor are eventually going to top out at. Does anyone know the record for any player in arbitration? I think it is Mookie Betts and he made somewhere around $27 million? Or did he settle outside of arbitration? If he did, who actually won the highest ever amount in arbitration?

@BovineCrab – I believe the largest ever arbitration award was $23M for Josh Donaldson back in 2017 or 2018 with Toronto. Other Arb-eligible players like Mookie have been paid more but they settled with the team vs. going through the arbitration process.

I’m guessing the Cubs will take Bryant to the Arb hearing and hope the arbiters are stingy this year based on COVID and the shortened season last year. I’d expect Cleveland to settle with Lindor so they have a fixed cost on him before dealing him prior to Spring Training.

@Lowtalker – Scroll over to the right. It shows that Clevinger agreed to an extension. I like having the complete list; it’s very informative. It shows all of the settlement amounts too (like E-Rod with Boston)

It was always the case; it’s just not a mobile-friendly tracker yet.

When an arbitration eligible player signs a multiyear extension, we record that as Extension rather than removing him entirely.

The Mets have a lot of work left to be done on their arbitration eligible players. I’m surprised they haven’t settled most of them by now.

Seems to be a formatting error. I can’t scroll to the right on my iPhone. I guess I’ll have to look at it on a PC later.

The infrastructure for this tracker is really old, so it doesn’t work well on mobile. Hoping to fix it up in 2021.

Hey flipping your phone horizontally. That should give you the wider view with the far right column.
