I personally really enjoy being a subscriber. I would recommend it.

Hulk! Come set your lineup in the 20-team MLBTR league buddy. You’re still starting players like AJ Puk, Anthony Santander and Starling Marte every single day even though your Injured list is totally open. You emailed me and wanted to join and I turned down over 20 other people that wanted to join so you could have a spot. You have guys like Shane Bieber, Josh Hader and Xander Bogaerts on your team. Don’t just let your team tank buddy. You’re actually 2-2. Imagine how good you would be if you set your lineup. This is a good rare league. A lot of guys are very active and it’s a 20-team league made only out of MLBTR commenters. That’s hard to find. Take advantage of it. You can’t still have Matt Bush on your team, bro!

That’ll teach him to leave a comment

I didnt think the league ever started! I got 0 info or emails. Can you send me the league info again please.
BrittinghamSports
It’s all good bro. I set the league up so 16 teams make the playoffs and like I said you are 2-2 so your actually in pretty good shape. You must’ve drafted pretty high because you got Shane Bieber. He’s probably been carrying your team. The league sent out emails when I scheduled the draft for March 30th. I also sent out a personal group email. I will email you again but I’m not sure what info to send you. I don’t have your espn account info or password or anything. You should have that yourself. I will send you another email. Check your other emails pre- March 30th and also just log into your espn account. Your fantasy team should just be listed on the 1st espn page when you are logged in. You might be logged in now.

Read the short article, it gives you your answer and as said by many well worth the money for the no ads and Friday chats alone

PSA: stop accusing teams of service time manipulation every time they don’t put a top prospect on the roster to start the season! (Especially when the prospect in question struggled in Spring Training, the team has an established track record of not manipulating service time and the service time deadline has already passed yet the prospect in question STILL hasn’t been called up)
ghostrobot
This website and all journalists are slanted against big business, maybe one day they’ll get to see the awesome power of unions at work 😉
Tim Dierkes
You seem to have an example in mind?
Deleted Userrr
My comment was directed at other commenters, not you and the MLBTR team. But yes, I was thinking of the individual cases of MacKenzie Gore and Bobby Witt Jr.
Dodgerfan34
We know that the owners are manipulating service time to keep players longer. It’s a crappy thing to do but it is something that they can do because the union and the owners negotiated it. Are they doing in every case? No. But the owners are doing it and using it to their advantage.
Let’s not pretend that the owners are some kind of saints sitting up in their boxes doing what’s best for the game of baseball. They’re trying to make as much money as they can and that includes screwing over players and the fans as well.

I wasn’t claiming that they aren’t ever doing it and if I had I’d have been wrong. I was speaking out against the people who scream “SeRvIcE tImE mAnIpUlAtIoN!” every single time a top prospect fails to make a team out of spring training. There are other reasons why a team would not put a top prospect on their major league roster

I just joined. Let’s see how this goes. I can’t tell anything different. What is it like for people that have subscribed already? Do you just see more chats available on the posts or something? What should I look out for to notice the difference?
rondon
You’ll get email alerts for the chats and mailbags. You’ll also get periodic articles sent as well. Enjoy!

Deal breaker right here. I’m in.

You seriously need to hire a proof reader across all of your TR sites, because your “writers” can’t manage to do it themselves.
Tim Dierkes
I’m OK with the occasional typo or error. Most of them get corrected pretty quickly, and I don’t get many complaints about it.
4eyedcoupe
I disagree….It’s not as simple as misspelling words. It’s whole phrases and sentences that don’t make sense and could easily be caught if your writers read it before they posted it. You want people to pay for a subscription, provide them with quality journalism and that includes not having mistakes like the one I emailed you a couple of weeks ago, I also disagree that they get fixed, most don’t. That one probably did because it was SO bad, I emailed you about it AFTER IT WAS POSTED FOR 2-3 DAYS!
It SUPER simple. If they won’t take a minute read it over themselves, then you shouldn’t expect anyone else to read it. Any journalist or basic HS English teacher will tell you that, it’s literally the #1 rule.
Your response told me that you are “OK” with supplying a product that you know could be better, but don’t care to make it better. You have a product, you should strive to do everything you can to make your product better, including the SIMPLE and FREE things. How much is taking a minute to proof-read going to cost you??? Have some pride in your product. Good luck to you, you have lost this reader for good, not because of errors, but because you fail to see the bigger picture and I now know this site will never reach its true potential under current managements business philosophy. No need to respond here, I won’t be back to read it. You have my email(beerbreak)

Thanks for the free trial, digging the no ads so far!

Worth every penny!

Thanks, but the button I clicked said that the free trial was two months and after activating it, it said that the renewal date was June 4th, only one month.

might be worth it if your team is in easy or the central division but not if in the western division not worth it!

Tim, what’s the latest on getting minor leaguers (or retired players/executives) to do chats? I would much rather chat with Tim Dillard or maybe a current/former front office executive than Mark Polishuk or Steve Adams. No offense to them, but they offer no unique insight or knowledge that I can’t get by “chatting” with people in the comment sections. We can all refresh Twitter for updates or guess where a player will sign/get traded, so can we have chats with a former player? I would GLADLY pay even MORE for that.
