The Mets could easily be going for 100 wins this year if all the BS didn’t happen.

Same with the Cardinals too. O’Neill would be worth 37 WAR if all the BS didn’t happen

You could also be the smartest person that comments on this site but just like the Mets, the proof is in the pudding.

Is BS short for baseball stuff like they play on the field because your analysis of how good the Mets are is based off silly projections and not the game on the field?

The Mets would definitely be going for 100 wins if they played the Nationals 115 times.

I did enjoy the question at the end of the chat asking if the Lindor contract could be voided. Lol Mets.

If it weren’t for all the BS losses, the Orioles would be a 100 win team.

There, I can do it too.

In a span of a few answers Mark P says to “not count out the A’s” but then suggests the A’s collapse is not “Bob Melvin’s fault”. Two weeks ago Mark P said the A’s were “on fire” despite losing 6 of their last 10.

He has the grandfather clause in his contract so unfortunately we have to deal with him until he hangs up the chest protector and mask. (Sarcasm – I can’t bring myself to write the mixed case letters in a word)

Lol at the question. Can the Mets get a refund on Mindor since the new contract didn’t start yet because he isn’t playing well

If the Indians DFA or trade Hedges (in a salary dump-like move), the Pirates need to be all-in on him. Michael Perez can’t be the 2nd catcher next season. He can’t hit and his defense is average at best. The Pirates have a ton of young pitching coming up the system over the next year or so (Carmen Mlodzinski, Roansy Contreras, Miguel Yajure, Omar Cruz, possibly Ricky DeVito in 2022 alone) and they need a catcher pitchers can have confidence in. Stallings can’t catch all 162 games (as much as I’d like that) and Perez has options remaining. Until Endy Rodriguez or Henry Davis are in the majors, Stallings is likely the answer. But they need a good defender behind the dish. Whether that’s Hedges, or someone on the FA market like Manny Pina.

No way Bellinger gets non-tendered. Even if the Dodgers wanted to move on, someone would offer SOMETHING for him.

And MacKenzie Gore has a good a chance of getting left off the 40-man roster this offseason as I do of ever being on one.
