Desmond Jennings Switches To Scott Boras

By Tim Dierkes | July 28, 2010 at 1:59pm CDT

Desmond Jennings has switched representation from SFX to Scott Boras, MLBTR has learned.  Jennings, one of the top prospects in the minors, has a .283/.356/.409 line for the Rays' Triple A club this year.  His scorching June has been sandwiched by unimpressive months.

Perhaps the switch to Boras kills any chance of Jennings signing a team-friendly multiyear deal, but it's not worth worrying about before he even makes his big league debut.

I like how prospects, who end up sucking in the minors, switch to Scott Boras.

Are you saying that Desmon Jennings sucks? Because he’s one of the top prospects in the minors.

Desmond Jennings is a legit prospect, but I do think that it’s ridiculous that he is doing this and he hasn’t debuted yet.

I know what each of those words mean, but the sentence is nonsense.

It’s like Boras sits on his throne in hell waiting for people to sell their souls to him.

Scott Boras is the worst person in baseball behind Bud Selig

so, Boras isn’t “the worst person in baseball”. He’s the “second worst person in baseball”.

Scott Boras is the Jerry Jones of baseball a complete douche bag with no skill at all He’s a complete leach and he takes way too much money.. players are stupid be make him their agent.. unless its A-Rod since he’s a douche for cheating and no one gives a crap about him hitting HR #***600***

You’re going a little over the top here. Of course he has skill because he is the best sports agent for baseball out there because he gets his players as much money as possible. These players are actually very smart to make himn their agent because they know if they have him as their agent they will get paid better than if they had another agent. Boras is bad for baseball but you can’t say he has no skill and that these players who want to get paid shouldn’t have them as their agent. And the A-Rod thing you said is pointless because it is a major milestone in a career but no one really pays a lot of attention about who has a certain amount of homeruns until they go for the all-time homerun king title. Once A-Rod reaches that then they will make a big deal.

Any reason my mild comments are getting removed and the ones calling him Satan or a douchebag aren’t?

The reason why Jennings had a impressive June and the rest is not the greatest of the world because he started hot in the first two weeks in April until he was sidelined for a month with a wrist injury. Don’t forget the Rays top prospects Jennings and Hellickson are both represent by Scott Boras.
