• The Reds outrighted catcher Corky Miller to Triple-A Louisville after designating him for assignment.
• The Cubs outrighted infielder Ian Stewart after designating him for assignment.
• The Astros released outfielder Rick Ankiel after designating him for assignment.
• The Pirates released pitcher Jonathan Sanchez after he cleared waivers.
