Signing Jason Heyward would the BEST FREE AGENT SIGNING THE YANKEES COULD EVER MAKE.
Signing a 26 year old left handed great defensive out fielder who can hit and will only get better as he gets into his prime is a no BRAINER. I would not worry about his power numbers Yankee Stadium will only help with that. At that age you can set him and forget him for the next 10 years and not worry he’s a special talent.
If their serious about getting younger then why would they not sign him. Hicks in left Ellsbury in center and Heyward in right. Trade Gardner, try and trade Ellsbury need to eat a lot of contract, move Hicks to center Judge in left , They also need to make a deal for a 2nd baseman Neil Walker would be great the pirates need a 1st baseman maybe a package with Bird going to Pittsburgh Walker and someone else to NY.
