Well, they may finish fourth. My guess is that Indians, Twins, and White Sox all finish (at least) 11 games ahead of the Royals. Unless you can arrange for your Royals to play the other 106 games against the Orioles, I think you’re outta luck.
NL West standings could look different next year. Padres could move out of last but not sure if it will be the Giants who finish last. Don’t forget Arizona lost 2 of their top 3 hitters (Golddy and Pollock) and their best pitcher from last year (Corbin). With trade talks of Lamb, Bradley & Greinke. I predict Dodgers, Rockies, Padres/Giants (interchangeable), D-Backs.
