    I got two replies from Tim today… I’m so happy.
    If Keuchel is only worth two wins more than the Angels #5… I don’t see any way anyone offers him a contract for more than 10 mil a year. He way over played his hand (arm).

      A two win improvement could be the difference between missing the playoffs or not…

        But where do you draw the line in how you value a win? Clearly he’s not worth what he thought. Swallow the pride, come back to Earth and accept a 1 year deal to prove you’re worth it.

        2 win improvement can be the difference between making the playoffs and sitting at home in October. That’s why I’d pay 10 mil over league minimum. Not sure I’d pay much more than that though.
        I have to believe he is worth more than 2 wins. He was a .500 pitcher, but in games he started, the Astros were 19 and 15 with 21 quality starts.

    Dallas Keichel is not better than Dakota Hudson. Not now, not later, not ever. The Cards certainly aren’t going to add Keichel, and sit the reigning PCL pitcher of the year.

      Well that’s what’s going on with Carlos Martinez, gant, Reyes also as well as aaa depth.

      Hey Tim wouldn’t cubs owners possibly being investigated by the IRS or other bureau due to tax liability or is that all the tribune liability or are both? I would think that would be scary for a fan

      spudchukar;

      Actually, Keuchel is not worth at least $50M more over the next 4-5 years then Dakota Hudson is worth. Hudson (or one of a half-dozen young Cardinal starters will get better, Keuchel will get worse.

      Understand, this is a fantasy league site.

    Fine… let the season end today.
    Rays, Royals, A’s division champs. Orioles and Twins are wildcard.

    “Didi is just a name brand Marwin Gonzalez” is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard
