Knowing this site, unlikely, but who knows what plans they have in mind with no real baseball to distract us.

Heard CC has lost some weight since retiring, if that has any bearing on what his “game shape” might be.

maybe, he doesn’t feel the need to hide chemically enhanced buff body. just maybe.

Cart before the horse much? 2 champs for ATL? They were 1-14 having a HOF starting-3. For as dominate as some believe they were during their run, that AVG is .071 — just sayin’ it ain’t easy getting 1 title, even while trash cans are being banged.

And a first ballot 3B and a HOF manager.

The league technically has the right to void all contracts in the event of catastrophe, and a worldwide pandemic certainly qualifies. While MLB wouldn’t have gone to that nuclear option unless necessary, the players also aren’t unreasonable — demanding full contracts in the event of a reduced season isn’t a great ask from either a logical or a public relations standpoint

Lol voiding the contracts would turn them in to the AAF or XFL, no longer an actual league.

45-55% chance? “I have no idea” would have been a equally helpful answer.

Mark P.: From 1950 to 1956, Ted Kluszewski achieved numbers that a trajectory that if it continued he would have easily been elected to Baseball’s Hall of Fame. Then he severely injured his back and he was never the same after that.

Sandy Koufax was a tremendous pitcher and his career was cut short by illness. He is my comparison for Big Klu to be in the Hall of Fame. Several recent HOF elections are in my eyes vey questionable. Comparing Big Klu’s six to seven year period is far superior to some of those inductees.

Kershaw and Scherzer stats aren’t close enough to be put over the top by 1 title IMO, especially given both times Kershaw was in the WS, his opponent cheated

The ERA+ Is 157 to 132, that’s 25% better.. FIP, 2.74 vs 3.13. Career era is 2.44 to 3.20. Per Bref, the war diff is 67 to 60 with the same number of seasons

Anyway you look at the numbers, kershaw has been way better than Max..
