While Pham started slow (after a very weird year that saw him getting stabbed), he’s looked like his old self the last month-plus, sporting a .327 AVG and now the power looks back, along with plus-speed and ability to get OB. He’d be the most exciting player on any team without Tatis, and doesn’t need to be in bubble-wrap.

Doesn’t need to be in bubble wrap?! Lol. Tommy Pham has torn both his right, and his left labrum. Broken hamate bone. Broken wrist. Torn ligament in other wrist shortly after. Strained oblique. Not to mention the off-season stabbing.

Sorry, you’re right. I’ve had blinders on everything before the last month, but is getting undersold if he can stave off injury (big IF).

Tony Conigliaro is a good “what if” candidate.

Also, Craig Counsell appears to be one of the better managers in MLB. If the Brewers fired him, and I don’t believe they will, he would be out of work for 5 minutes.

Vlad Guerrero Jr. has quielty been pretty decent at base running and fielding, which has to be taken into consideration when you look at his MVP case. I’m not saying that he’s been a Keith Hernandez at first base, but he’s been about average in both regards. Pretty good considering that he’s out in front been the best overall hitter in baseball this year.

“He is more than holding his own at the MLB level, which is impressive for a guy who had never played above high-A before this season. Baddoo does have particularly gigantic righty/lefty splits, but overall, he has looked like a quality player”

If Baddoo wore a Yankee uniform these guys would be saying how he’s “smashing” at .262/ .350/ .489 with an OPS + of 133… He’s “Crushing” righthanders at .292/ .382/ .489.

At least he didn’t give the standard… “small sample size” comment like last time.
