No wonder the Tigers took a big step back, Marco Rubio can’t possibly find time to run south Florida into the ocean and manage his young arm’s innings.

    Mancini or Haniger for RF

Boyd and Pineda again? Need innings.

    Trade Soto?

    Non tender and resign Candy

    Rogers and Haase at C

Let Tork, Greene, Carpenter, Wentz Badoo develop in the bigs and all the pitchers heal

Not much immediate help on the farm for 23

Run it back otherwise and big changes in 24 w no more Miggy Candy Schoop and hopefully full strength staff .

Tigers need a RH bat that can play OF, and move to 1B if Torkelson needs more time in the minors. Mancini is not really an OF, as evidenced by Alvarez playing LF for Houston instead of DH. If you are worse than Alvarez, you don’t want him roaming Comerica. Hanigan is quite the injury waiting to happen. Al liked signing that type of player. Hopefully Harris will spend his payroll more wisely. Will Myers strikes out a lot, but might take a one year deal.

@stymeedone; would Harris move a Brieske type of arm for switch hitting Os outfielder Santander?

Will Myers half seasons in career- 5
Will Myers full seasons in career-5

        Haniger? Same ratio. Meh. Potato/potato.

Maybe it’s unwise to not know the guy you are calling injury prone is just as injury prone as the guy you want to replace him. Myers tank looks a lot closer to empty than Hanigers, results wise.

A Lefty batting 1st base/ DH I think would help Tigers too

Trade Brieske and Soto for Santander?
Sign Taillon and T. Anderson as starters.
      Keep Candelario for 3B
      Keep Barnhart as backup catcher.
Sign Correa and move Baez to 2B.

      LF Baddoo
      SS Correa
      CF Greene
      RF Santander
      2B Baez
      DH Carpenter/Miggy
      1B Tork
      3B Candy
      C Haase/Barnhart

I would also try and sign Bellinger for 1B if they think Tork isn’t ready.
Try and get C Danny Jansen from the Jays. He was great during the playoffs. Turn Haase into a Max Muncy type of bench player. The guy is a great all around player.

This article is written as if Al the wonder GM himself was still at the helm. You will see a much different approach from senior Harris.

Santander would be a great pickup. I’d like them to consider 3B Mark Vientos of the Mets. I’d also not like to see Gregory Soto on the team, but also not on the Mets as well (Tigers & Mets my teams). Move McNeil to LF, Mauricio to 2B.

We shouldn’t go for any of Seattle’s OFs, except trade low for Kelenic—he may finally emerge.
