The discussion talks about the strength of the Padres being the lineup, which is very solid top to bottom especially bat to ball skills. But the bullpen wasn’t mentioned, and it has to rank in the top 2 or 3 in the MLB and I see that as their best asset going into the playoffs.
I bet the Dodgers would like a do-over regarding their interest in Dylan Cease before he was traded to San Diego.
