2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Guide
Today, I have been hard at work on the tenth update to the 2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Guide. If you haven’t drafted yet, there’s still time left to pick it up for just $9.99. 600+ players are projected, with player comments and draft tools included. You also get the latest Average Draft Position data from Mock Draft Central. I think it’s a good value and miles ahead of the outdated magazines. You can download a sample file from this page if you’re unconvinced.
ProTrade Challenge
Would you like to win a copy of the 2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Guide? And possibly a ton of ProTrade money to boot?
RotoAuthority has partnered with ProTrade for two cool free challenges. I’m giving away ten fantasy guides in total. The first challenge starts tonight at midnight and will have 1,000 entrants. It’ll run until March 24th. Click here to access the first challenge.
If you’re not familiar with it, ProTrade lets you trade baseball players as if they’re stocks. It’s completely free. You can buy players or short them. I’ve been playing for about a week now, buying up all my favorite sleepers (Rich Hill) and shorting Chien-Ming Wang.
2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Guide
Many folks are having fantasy drafts this Sunday, myself included. Rather than relying on that dog-eared magazine from January, why not pick up the 2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Guide for just $9.99?
I’ve projected 600+ players, written comments for each, noted the sleepers, assigned risk levels, included average draft positions, and more. The Guide is updated weekly, too.
Fantasy Baseball – The Undrafted
Take a look at some nifty draft dodgers over at RotoAuthority. By that I mean players outside of Mock Draft Central‘s Top 300 for a 12 team mixed league.
Unrelated note – I was able to increase the number of Recent Posts seen in the sidebar from 10 to 15. Is 15 a good amount? I can change it easily.
Also, coming tomorrow morning: Rockies starter Jason Hirsh answered some questions for MLBTR from camp.
RotoAuthority Partners With Mock Draft Central
I’m happy to announce that RotoAuthority has partnered with Mock Draft Central to provide Average Draft Position data for my 2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Guide.
We’re providing Average Position Data from the past week for the top 300 players. It’s very helpful to use this ADP data to compare where players are being drafted and where RotoAuthority ranks them to find value picks.
Mock Draft Central is unbeatable for such data as well as holding, you guessed it, mock fantasy baseball drafts. The truly dedicated geek likes to practice before draft day. I highly recommend the site as part of your preparation.
As for my Guide, I just sent out my sixth update (every Sunday night) to subscribers. This is far better than any magazine, which is stale by the time it hits the newsstand. All for $9.99.
Spring Training Cliches
Over at RotoAuthority (with a ton of help from readers) I’ve compiled a long list of Spring Training Cliches. You know, those former skinny guys who put on 40 lbs. of muscle or the lousy pitcher who just perfected a new split-finger knuckle changeup slurve. So far my categories are Got Into Better Shape, Working On a New Pitch, Better Vision, and Going To Run More. You’ll be surprised by all the improvements players have supposedly made this spring to take their game to the next level.
Got any that we’ve missed? Leave a comment on that RotoAuthority thread and I’ll update the post. It’ll be fun to look back after the season to see if yoga really worked for Mike Sweeney.
Additionally, I’m giving away five free copies of my 2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Guide tomorrow. All you have to do to be eligible is sign up for the daily mailing list found on the lefthand sidebar of RotoAuthority. The only email you’ll get is one linking to the latest posts.

RotoAuthority Fantasy Guide
Which second year starter who no one’s talking about could rack up over 200 strikeouts in 2007?
Which rookie closer could post a sub-3 ERA?
Which unheralded, undrafted leadoff man could mash 20 HR and score 100?
Which player batted below .220 last year but could mash 30 HR as a $10 player this year?
Can you name five rarely mentioned 20/20 candidates?
RotoAuthority unlocks the answers to all of these questions in our 2007 Fantasy Guide. It’s only $9.99 and is updated weekly. At the least, visit the page to download a free sample containing the Cubs, Cardinals, and White Sox to see if you like it.
