2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Guide

By Tim Dierkes | January 29, 2007 at 10:11pm CDT

I wanted to pass along some recent feedback on my 2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Guide from customer Jordan H.:

"This product is even more awesome than I’d thought it would be.  The info is just sweet. You have a very pleased customer, who will definitely be repeating in future years."

So give it a shot already!  My customers have already enjoyed a couple of rounds of weekly updates.  The whole thing costs just $9.99.

If you’re on the fence about it, click here to Download 2007_projections_demo.xls.  The file is a sample version containing the Cubs, White Sox, and Cardinals with all of the Guide’s functionality.

Also, if you publish a decent-sized website and might be interested in an arrangement to advertise this Guide, please drop me a line at mlbtraderumors@gmail.com.

And if you aren’t open to some kind of advertising but would do a one-time review of the Guide on your site in exchange for a free copy, that will work too.

Thanks.

AL Starting Rotation Projections

By Tim Dierkes | January 25, 2007 at 10:52am CDT

My AL starting rotation projections are up now at RotoAuthority.  Have at it.  I don’t see any obvious fan bases I’ve angered but you never know.

Also hop over to AllCubs.com to see #9 on the list of the worst Cubs in recent memory.

Who will be the first Marlins starter to go down from injury?  It almost seems inevitable these days with young pitchers.  Anibal Sanchez had a scare recently.

Nate Silver weighs in on the Darin Erstad signing.

Bucco Blog doesn’t see Jeff Weaver as a Pirate.

NL Starting Rotation Projections

By Tim Dierkes | January 24, 2007 at 10:36am CDT

Head over to RotoAuthority to see which NL team has the best starting rotation, in my opinion. I should mention that I’ve projected the Rocket as an Astro so he’s boosting their ranking.  Rosenthal has the Brewers as his top surprise pick of ’07; I would agree based on their rotation.

And check out AllCubs.com to see who ranked #10 on the list of the ten worst Cubs in recent memory.

Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News speculates that the Rangers could sign Bruce Chen or Ryan Drese to add starting depth.

Does Howie Kendrick deserve to beat out Jered Weaver for the Angels’ best under-25 prospect? Kevin Goldstein thinks so.

2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Baseball Guide Now On Sale

By Tim Dierkes | January 14, 2007 at 3:20pm CDT

After months of work, my 2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Baseball Guide is now on sale for just $9.99.  Click here to read all about it and buy one.

This is the ideal tool for anyone looking for a fantasy baseball advantage.  In my opinion it blows the $8 magazines out of the water.  You get weekly updates, draft tools, blurbs and 2007 projections for every relevant player, and tons of sorting ability to create cheatsheets.  Aside from the projected 2007 stats, you can sort by age and filter by risk, league, team, and sleeper status.

If you’re on the fence about making the purchase, at least download the sample version of the Guide.  The sample has the Guide’s full functionality but only features projections for the Cubs, White Sox, and Cardinals.

2007 Fantasy Baseball Third Baseman Rankings

By Tim Dierkes | January 9, 2007 at 11:22am CDT

My fantasy baseball third baseman rankings are a bit off the beaten path, apparently.  Take a look over at RotoAuthority and leave a comment about why I’m wrong.

And over at AllCubs.com, a Hall of Fame case is made for Andre Dawson.

One other note: I have updated the position-by-position available free agent posts that can be accessed from the left-hand sidebar of this site.
