Justin Verlander Projection

I’ve posted my thoughts concerning Justin Verlander for 2007 from a fantasy baseball point of view at RotoAuthority.  I wouldn’t call him a bust, but I don’t think he’ll provide good value.

While I’ve got you – Phils fans should check out a new website from a loyal MLBTR visitor, James.  It’s all Phillies prospects, all the time at Phuture Phillies.

Also, check out Jeff Sackmann’s take on the Jeff Suppan signing over at BrewCrew Ball.

Another good read: Nate Silver writes why the Mets should definitely not trade Lastings Milledge for a mere Joe Blanton.

Sizing Up The Closers: NL Central

Thinking about fantasy baseball already?  RotoAuthority takes a look at the prospective NL Central closers.  It’s a mess.

The 2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Baseball Guide should be ready by mid-January; I’m keeping the price at $9.99.

I don’t have my Daisuke Matsuzaka projection ready quite yet.  But my numbers will certainly be informed by all the fine projections already published, as summed up nicely by Dayn Perry.

Doug Davis Projection

For those of you interested in fantasy baseball, I run another website called RotoAuthority.com.  Check it out!

Today I projected the 2007 performance of new Diamondback starter Doug Davis.  This projection is an example of what you’ll find in my 2007 RotoAuthority Fantasy Baseball Guide.  I spent many hours on these last year and am currently about 1/3 done with the ’07 version.  Customers were very happy with the $9.99 product and I hope you’ll check it out when it becomes available sometime around January.
