The righthanded bat offers versatility and some power, so he'd be a fit for almost every team in the league. The Phillies, Rangers, and Yankees are among the clubs seriously interested in acquiring him for the stretch run.

to me it just makes too much sense that he would end up with the Phillies, with Polanco and Utley hurt he can play either of those positions and despite the fact that he hasn’t done much of anything over the last month he would definitely help their bench out once they’re both back
… im actually starting to think he fits with the braves. chipper and glaus have been up and down and he’s a definite improvement over brooks conrad. given their win it now attitude and how secretly the escobar/gonzalez trade went down, im going with a team not listed as the darkhorse.
yes mlbtr please keep drumming up buzz for a ty wigginton trade. if the orioles can get a bag of balls for that glorified utility man it will be a win for the org.
