Blue Jays Avoid Arbitration With Johnson, Francisco By Tim Dierkes | January 17, 2012 at 12:32pm CDT The Blue Jays announced they've avoided arbitration with second baseman Kelly Johnson for $6.375MM and outfielder Ben Francisco for $1.5375MM. Casey Janssen and Brandon Morrow are the Jays' remaining arbitration eligible players.
Sounds fair. I’d love to see Morrow sign a multi-year deal now rather than go to arb.
Can Francisco pitch?
yea signing morrow to extension makes alot of sense
Serious. His SIERA has been 3.31 over the last 2 years. Because his ERA hasn’t translated yet, the Jays should be able to extend him cheap, with a good chance it will end up being a bargain.
yup. totally agree.
I hope to see both Morrow and Janssen get multi-year deals.
