I agree. Baez is tearing it up again in AAA. I would love to see him play 2B and move Russell over to SS. If anything, they’re just doing their do-diligence on another cost-controlled arm.
Not really sure if there’s a match here. Maybe Wood and Peraza for Baez + something else?
personally i’d rather have the big bat potential of Baez than the marginal bat of Peraza. Russell’s no slouch as a defender.
