          Fangraphs says otherwise, lad.

As does good old fashioned common sense.

          Not even close.

NYY: 2.83 ERA / 14 of 16 SVO in 159 IP with opponent BA of .188 (MLB best)

NYM: 3.73 ERA / 10 of 16 SVO in 135 IP with opponent BA of .250

          Boy howdy, @Cosmo.
That split finger FB is a mic drop.

Greene & Loaisiga have been fire & can both go over an inning.

O’day was throwing well. Should be back soon.

Lots of lesser contributors (King, Nelson, Peralta et al).

Wilson has been knocked around. But I looked him up over at Savant. He is throwing exactly as always. He should come around.

& Britton hasn’t even thrown a pitch for us this year.

Aside from ’20, Brian Cashman always puts a good bullpen together. This may be his deepest unit yet. Which is extremely high praise.

Looked at fWAR a couple days ago.
Yanks were at 2.3. Nobody else was even at 2.0.

Our bullpen kept us afloat through April.

          Thanks for the research, @RunDMC.

Can’t look at that bc someone in the minors who comes up could mess up your stats.
Look at the best 8 relievers for both teams. Btw I think yanks have a better bullpen and I was playing with him. But the Mets bullpen is definitely top 3 imo

          “Can’t look at that.” – mestfan22.

That’s so awesome, bro. For real.

Oh. Hey. About those pesky stats that are different than what you would like them to be?
Don’t look at them! They disagree on that whole “definitely top 3 imo” thing.

Nate asked the exact same question I did about lowering the mound. I wonder how often that happens…..

I’m in favor of lowering the mound X inches and digging the batters’ boxes X inches into the ground. I will say that X should be on the small side, not like 12.

Lower both several miles. baseball shouldn’t be played above sea level.

How did the marlins not win yesterday. This isn’t throwing shade or anything. We gifted them the game like 3 times and still won. Today will be very hard bc they have Lopez on the mound and we have our AAA lineup!

what is a realistic return for Bumdy and Heany and Iglesias(closer)?

Realistically, if the Angels wait until the end of July to move guys then the returns for the three will be three lottery tickets. They are all rentals so unless these three start to greatly improve then expect nothing worthwhile.

Mets are definitely a bad matchup if deGrom is healthy. The central will play the east luckily. The west will play the winner of the 2 west wild cards.
