Wainwright’s a HOFer over Hamels because he stayed with one team? That’s the silliest thing I’ve ever heard. I agree with the commentors, Adam doesn’t deserve to be in the HOF, especially over Cole Hamels

I’m gonna be dead honest but I never watched Wainwright and thought ‘I’m watching a HOF pitcher’. 3 All-Star nods, a career ERA in the mid 3s, no Cy Young. Just doesn’t seem HoF worthy to me at all

I am a Phillies fan since 1962. I loved Hamels but neither he or Wainwright is HoF
The following isn’t my only basis for saying that, but if you look at BBR’s HoF Stats they say the same……

I’m torn between Waino getting to 200 wins makes him more likely to get in the hall or retiring last season with Yadi and Albert makes him more likely to get in because of the vibes of the three gong in together.

        Neither would really help.

Wainwright and Hamels are HOF but Schilling isn’t?

Stat-wise Schilling is a for sure HOF, but his mouth talked him out of it.
He’ll get in eventually on the Era’s ballot.
As a Phillies’ fan loved him as a player, but some of the stuff he said….
