The Pirates are expected to sign reliever Gregory Soto, reports Jorge Castillo of ESPN. It’s a one-year, $7.75MM deal. The team has yet to announce the move.

7.75m less to spend fixing the lineup. Soto is probably worth this in a vacuum, but id be spending every penny available on hitters, and taking alot of low cost dart throws trying to shore up the pen
