Legacy Sports Group represents the outfielder, who was the 11th overall selection in the June draft. Houston also signed third rounder Jack Armstrong Jr., according to Manuel and Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports that Armstrong obtained a $750K deal (Twitter link).

The Boras Corporation represents the high schooler, who had to be lured away from a football commitment to Nebraska. The Royals add some local talent to their deep farm system today, as Starling is a Royals fan from Gardner, Kansas.

The Indians believe Lindor has the potential to develop into an impact shortstop, according to MLB.com's Jordan Bastian.

The Pirates have signed first overall pick Gerrit Cole, according to Jon Heyman of SI.com (on Twitter). Cole obtains an $8MM deal, according to John Manuel of Baseball America (on Twitter). The Boras corporation represents the hard throwing UCLA product.
Cole stands 6'4" and doesn't turn 21 until the fall. He throws a slider and change-up, plus a fastball that regularly reaches the mid 90s. However, his stuff didn’t translate into the statistical success you’d expect for a first overall pick (teammate Trevor Bauer posted more impressive numbers). Cole finished the season with a 3.31 ERA, 119 strikeouts and 24 walks in 114 1/3 innings – impressive numbers, but certainly not Strasburg-esque.
Cole has experience as a first rounder. The Yankees selected him out of high school in 2008. He declined to sign, even though he’s a Yankees fan who counts Roger Clemens and Mariano Rivera among his role models.

The Orioles have signed third overall pick Dylan Bundy, according to MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli (on Twitter). BBI Sports Group represents the right-hander. Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun hears (on Twitter) that Bundy got a big league deal and Jim Callis of Baseball America hears that it's worth $6.225MM (Twitter link). In his senior season at Owasso High School, Bundy had an 11-0 record with a 0.20 ERA and 158 strikeouts and five walks in 71 innings. The 18-year-old also hit 11 homers en route to being named the Gatorade National Player of the Year. The Orioles signed his older brother, Bobby Bundy, after selecting him in the eighth round of the 2008 draft.

The Rays signed Taylor Guerrieri, according to Marc Topkin of the St. Petersburg Times (on Twitter). The sides agreed to a $1.6MM deal, according to Jon Heyman of SI.com (on Twitter). The Rays selected the right-hander 24th overall in June. Guerrieri had a scholarship offer at South Carolina, but decided instead to sign with the Rays, who had ten of the top 60 picks in the draft.
