Here are the latest players to get outrighted to the minor leagues…
- The Nationals outrighted Garrett Mock to Triple-A Syracuse, according to MLB.com's Bill Ladson (on Twitter). Washington designated the right-hander for assignment last week. He spent this season with four of the Nationals' affiliates, posting a 6.39 ERA with 9.3 K/9 and 5.3 BB/9 in 49 1/3 total innings of work.
On September 13th? Is the Nats AAA affiliate even playing anymore, or is this just a means to get him off of the active roster?
He sucks ALOT so yea basically to open up a roster spot.
my names garrett..so i feel bad for the dude
Mock peaked a while ago, and was taking up 40-man roster space. Having him back on the AAA roster may not help anymore, since he has totally lost it. We got Matt Chico and Garrett Mock for Livan Hernandez, and we enjoyed both of them on hideous Nats teams. However, neither really worked out, and we got Livan back, anyway. Thanks Garrett, but I don’t expect to see you again. Honest best wishes for here on out.
+1/2St.
Wonder if the Nationals selected him in the Mock draft?

Just release him already!!!!! He is never gonna be good in the majors!
Just release him already..
