The Giants going after Harper, and finishing 2nd, is not what I would call “treading water”. Even if Zaidi was the greatest GM in the history of baseball, he still wouldn’t be able to create a youngish toolsy outfielder out of whole cloth.
The Giants have to bring their fences in to get power hitters. They are a losing team with no farm system. That is a problem too. Just a realistic fan, not a troll.

Detroit a wild card contender? Keuchel and/or Kimbrel signing a one year deal with the Royals? WTF are these people on? I don’t think Kimbrel would sign with Milwaukee either. WTF wants to play in Wisconsin?
In my head, I’ve been pronouncing it Dee-Err-Kes. Now that I know it rhymes with circus, I’m a little disappointed. I’m just gonna go with Tim Circus. More fun.
Cole will sign with whichever California team pays him the most money.
Way to bail on the team destin to rebuild. Clearly last season it was the Orioles I’m guessing reds aren’t that great and use new pieces to reshuffle the weak rebuild.
