Interested to see if Chaim trades or signs (not much left) a starting pitcher or do they believe a young pitcher will emerge. Maybe JBJ @ $11M is traded to Padres who need a CF for a 4/5 starting pitcher. Traded their CF (former Sox prospect) to Rays in that deal last week (Margot).
Padres aren’t interested in JBJ even if he was free. They certainly aren’t going to trade a SP for him and take on $11 million in salary.
What happened with that Mcguire fellow on the blue jays, did he get caught spankin his monkey?
