I’m oddly disappointed there weren’t any of those pie in the sky fantasy trade/signing suggestions like “Dodgers give up Mookie Betts, Will Smith and James Outman along with $200 million to the Yankees in exchange for taking Giancarlo Stanton’s salary obligations off the Yankees hands and paying Gerrit Cole’s salary, etc. and that’s it- who says no?”
A fart in the wind blurb about trading Michael Harris II seems pretty pie in the sky.
Funny how it took Steve 3 minutes to close up shop. A last look at the questions and a “nah, not feeling it?”
Or a glitch in the matrix?
As MLBTR celebrates 18 years in business, Jorge celebrates 17 years of being a miserable SOB. Congrats, Jorge, never change! If you ever had anything nice to say, nobody would recognize you 🙂 Cheers!
Cleveland has no need for Verdugo, another left-handed hitter that struggles with lefty pitching.
He thinks Cease could get moved, but when someone offers a deal that trade simulator considers perfectly fair (Julien and Festa), he says it’s too much. Not saying that’s a perfect tool, but the trade could make sense for both.
Does MIN need a SP so badly to deal Julien? I think they’d consider someone else, but Julien’s bat will be part of whether MIN wins or not next year.
I hope we don’t even consider trading Julien…. But we did trade Arraez for a starter. But Cease is no Pablo either.
