Decent podcast but I’d say you guys do a great job of writing about the trades, rumors and such on the website that you should shorten up some of the discussion and bring in some more topics for the show and link to each topic so people can read more about them.

That’s a pretty good idea. I do wonder though, who is the intended audience for the podcast? Is it an adjunct to the website, or is it intended to reach out to new audiences?

I suspect the regular reader of MLBTR tends to be an in older demographic (as hinted at by pop culture references in the comments that skew into the Carter and Ford presidencies) while the typical podcast listener tends to be in a younger demographic, someone that is in the TLDR generations.. But, that’s just a guess.

Royals have spent $396.5M this offseason on just Wacha, Lugo, Renfro, Stratton, Smith, Frazier and Witt.

I think it’s fantastic to see them care so much about winning, the exact opposite of my team unfortunately.

The Royals are ruining baseball for us small market teams.

In other news Fever, STILL face value seats all over Febway for opening day.

It’s been a while since they went on sale. Even monster seats last I checked.

      The fenway experience, right?

This website needs to change their name from MLBTR to MPYNHO (Mostly People You’ll Never Hear Of)
