Just out of curiosity, do any of y’all actually listen to the podcast?
good vibes only
Yes sir! I enjoy it quite a bit
Grumpofm
I’m more of a reader than a listener, so no.
wagner13
Yeah, perfect for morning runs

Beyond my Mariners, I love listening to peeps who actually know baseball. Dishing on what is happening in the MLB world. You guys do a bang up job of keeping me informed! Money well spent, I say!
Theodore
Yeah at least all you guys are seeing most of your teams get some sort of improvement in free agency or trades , here I Toronto we basically got two guys running the ball club doing nothing at all and a ownership that does nothing about it . Big signing they made is IKF what a waste of 15 million they get a player that we all ready have filling those positions he plays and a terrible batting average , we needed to replace players for better hitters and nothing has been done .The pitching staff no matter how good it is cannot keep putting up zero run to keep the team in contention to win games . They also keep stating they have confidence the team can win rolling back the same team

And not surprisingly, Shapiro and Atkins have never won ANYTHING
User 3044878754
These two clowns offered NOTHING on the podcast regarding how Rob Manfred is doing nothing to fix the inequality Cleveland is facing to act in the best interests of baseball on their tv contract . No criticism of Manfred is simply unacceptable.

They’re afraid of stepping on any toes as it could harm the relationships they have with reporters and sponsors. Anthony in particular has an aversion to taking any type of stance which deviates from standard talking points and mass audience accepted opinions.
good vibes only
That’s one opinion
Rocker49
I don’t think anyone cares about Cleveland once they took away the Indians name. One day people will watch the movie Major League and think the Indians are a made up team. Instead it was some weaklings who changed the name to something that won’t offend or step on toes. No backbone
HalosHeavenJJ
Still think Justin Turner makes the most sense here.
DH most days, first vs lefties and deity at third for when Rendon gets injured walking into spring training.
RandorBierd
Justin Turner caused untold numbers of deaths when callously ran onto the field without wearing a facial garment.
Theodore
Can MLB discuss the lozy job the two guys are doing running the Ball club in Toronto
Theodore
That discussion will bring comments by fans on the Toronto Blue Jays Ball club
TrumboRedux
THE Toronto Blue Jays Ball club? I’ve heard of em, I’m sure of it! They were known as “The Expos” a long time ago right? Known as “The Nova Scotia Nationals” prior to that? Hard to keep up with my non-Merica teams!!
TrumboRedux
More than anything, I would like to actually experience what the food is like in Toronto. In my mind, I imagine it to be exactly like I would find in the LA Metro or Orange County region..I am probably way off…I hear there is a maple syrup and gravy fry stand on every corner though..”Poutine” is it? Lol I’ve never had a “cheese curd” in my life either, which would be exciting to try.

Mariners in need of another infield bat (and a surplus of controllable young arms)
==========================
For the Mariner fans out there, is this (while a popular meme) really true?
I count five SPs who combined for 139 GS, 14 more by Gonzalez and Flexen, who I doubt anyone is trading for. And 3 by Hancock, who has some promise, but doesn’t have a long track record.
It seems to me that, with Hancock as the #6, they have the perfect number of pitchers. But certainly not a surplus.
SodoMojo90
Flexen was released last year and Gonzalez was already traded…

You need more than 6 starters to make it through a season. There is zero depth beyond Hancock, and Hancock is not very good. I think they need to find one or two more depth starters either within or as acquisitions. If they have 1-2 pitchers hurt at the same time, with the existing group, they are in trouble.
