I am proud to have offered all of this for less than $30 per year since we launched Front Office five years ago. As of 8-1-25, the cost will be $34.99 per year or $3.99 per month. I feel we’re still offering huge bang for your buck at this price.
But wait – you can still lock in the old price of just $29.89 per year, for a full three years! That’s over $15 in savings! Anyone who signs up for Trade Rumors Front Office prior to 8-1-25 and keeps auto-renewal on will enjoy the grandfathered $29.89 annual price until 8-1-28! Go sign up right now!

Nah we’re good
Not learning from ESPN payment system that’s about to go bust after this year when Apple bucks up and leaves ESPN with half the content.
If the writing was of a higher quality it might be worthwhile, but no thanks.
Oh please.. Tell us, from the lofty hipness of Austin, what free site has better, more consistent writing than this one? There isn’t one. And if the writing is so bad, why do you keep coming back?
He might be in Australia. Or Austria. You assume a lot about a person based on a random 15 word comment.
The literal writing is inconsistent, but you would think the non-paying bloggers would show a little gratitude instead of rudeness. The site is nice when you have a minute to spare and want to scan quickly as to what’s new.
tremendous writing. i’ve loved all of it. extremely worth the extra cash if you’re here reading the comments.
They deserve extra cash for having to read some of these comments lol
svyat – I totally agree! I’ve been saying for over a year they should raise the price, it’s definitely worth it. Tons of great content.
tempting.. Ive not been in a good financial position until recently.
kell – If you need some additional cash, the stock market is booming right now. Easy money.
Ive been doing something they call “writng letters” which is really more like mailing in sweepstakes entries. I just deposited my first big “drop” for $750. It took months for this to prove itself, but it seems to work. Its a good return on time/investment.
Worth every penny.
brave – Absolutely, even Brad Penny!
Happy to chip in for all the content!
If you considered adding an mlb betting advice aspect I might consider subscribing.
Would be nice to have suggestions of who to pick for parlays for instance and reasons why you should take the over under on certain guys.
Like hey Soto may go hitless today cause he’s facing a lefty and is batting blank and especially struggling with this pitch recently. Take a chance.
Or discuss fantasy points predictions for pitchers and position players.
Please no betting content ever.
Agreed. Please no betting content. A zillion other places on the Internet to find that kind of stuff. We don’t need that here.
Again. Don’t want to read about it. Don’t click on it. Simple concept. It’s a growing industry that even espn itself now has betting. Either get with the times or become a relic of the past. Of all the sites I visit this one does the most “begging” for subscribers. Wanna increase subscribers start offering analytical betting advice as paid content and I don’t mean winner loser or spread projections I mean over under for individual players too.
Easy – You’re right about simply not clicking on it, but using “advice” on sports betting is a sucker’s bet.
You think any so-called “experts” picked the Angels to sweep the Dodgers in Dodger Stadium, or picked the Rockies to sweep the Marlins in Miami? One of the greatest aspects of baseball is it’s unpredictability.
What I disagree with is your belief that betting advice would increase memberships here. Most people here seem to know better than value any type of betting advice, and seems like very few here are into betting.
And this is coming from someone who does visit casinos and does wager on World Series futures and will be all over Saratoga tomorrow.
Baseball isn’t like horse racing, you don’t need to wager in order to enjoy watching baseball games. And there’s already plenty of free baseball contests like Beat the Streak.
BTW there seems to be plenty of readers here who aren’t even 21 yet therefore can’t gamble even if they wanted to.
If betting were easy everyone would be rich
Also I’m not talking about picking winners or picking spreads.
I’m talking more analytics in depth pieces about individual hitters and likelihood they can get 1.5 more or less hits runs rbis for instance
Looking at individual batters match ups vs individual pitchers and analyzing their success rates against certain pitches, hitting situations, and using all that fancy data to say yes or no provides an educated guess more than a guess. Are educated guesses 100%? No. But it’s actually be nice to read more in depth pieces related to betting whether to pick over or under individual performances based on multiple data analysis.
Can Luis Severino get more or less than 4.5 strike outs vs the O’s here’s an in depth look at how things each hitter would fair based on data available on said hitters.
Again. If that’s not your cup of tea. Don’t visit the site. Even if you’re not into betting the sabermetrics analysis regarding hitters success rate, situational hitting how many opportunities they get, and the overall data analysis holds more appeal than your giving it credit for and can be applicable to multiple stories outside their betting app.
It’s not just betting advice I’m talking about. It’s new age baseball analytics being put to use in a betting scenario.
But again. If too many numbers are hard for you and long detailed reports aren’t your jam don’t read them.
Easy – You sound just like the kids who think they can be good at day trading.
You think analytics lead to success?
How many championships have the Rays won.
How many LCS games (not series, GAMES) have the Moneyball Athletics won?
My team has the largest analytics department in MLB with over 300 employees, how is that working out for them?
It’s not a matter of numbers being “too hard”, it’s a matter of people like me who truly understand when and how to use numbers laughing at the many who don’t.
Dude I’m just trying to save you a few bucks by not investing in fool’s gold sports analytics, but I know you ain’t gonna listen so best of luck to ya. You’ll need it.
Don’t like it don’t read it
Not a hard concept
I’ve openly said there’s no guarantees in gambling
I’ve also openly said I’m interested in a data driven analytical approach of how hitters perform against
Pitch types
Pitchers
Batting order
Ball park
And now all that data can impact outcomes on betting.
Can it increase odds of betting correctly?
Seems like a fun experiment to me
I’m sorry numbers are hard for you or if you find that boring.
Once again. Don’t like it don’t read it
I don’t see you post on profoorballrumors fever why is that? Probably cause you’re not as interested in football as you are baseball and don’t waste your time reading content there.
So you understand this concept perfectly already Fever. Don’t like it don’t read it.
You sound like one of those people who openly fought for segregation wanting white and black only water fountains fever. I get it new things are scary. You’ll be alright if they decide to start a betting page.
And again
I’m not talking about wins losses or beating spreads. Like you said baseball can be random. Teams can be hit cold or anywhere in between.
What I am talking about is hitter performances and pitcher performances. Individual outcomes. Not team outcomes.
And why yes fever teams spend millions of dollars looking at analytics cause despite not always guaranteeing wins it does increase chances when your analytics department can identify the best way to approach a teams best hitter in a series.
Apparently teams find value in analytics. I’m curious how that can be applied to betting outcomes.
Once again. Don’t like it don’t read it. Really no reason to want segregated fountains anymore Fever.
Easy – I agreed with you in the very first sentence of my very first response to you.
So are you:
1) Blind?
2) Have a memory as short as 5-second Freddy?
3) Intentionally ignoring what I write because you’re looking for another pissing contest?
Well I’m not GBS so I’m not gonna give you what you want. Especially because there’s something very off with you, considering how far off the trail you veered as well.
Have a wonderful day!
Haven’t veered once
But there’s still no reason to want segregated fountains fever. Thing of the past should stay in the past.
As we watch baseball numbers die and Savannah bananas create a much more fun entertaining fan experience than the mlb could ever provide I’m curious how long the old guard can hold out until new ideas need to be introduced to attract fans back. Not very long would be my guess.
So then don’t read it. Nobody forces you to click articles. Don’t want to read content about sports betting don’t click the articles about sports betting. Just like I don’t want to read anything hockey related so I don’t go to their hockey website. See how that works?
No betting!!! —- We don’t want to read your replies but here we are reading them because we do. (Maybe if they do do betting on this site it can be the ONLY advertisement they offer and make it off to the side or HIGHLIGHTED that requires a click to open.
Nobody forcing you to read replies lmao
If they were to create a betting aspect they’d create a new website like they did for NBA, NFL, NHL, and eventually MLS cause bets aren’t mlbtraderumors
You people do realize you don’t have to visit the betting site created my trade rumors if you don’t want to right? Nobody would force you to visit betsbytraderumors or betting rumors
I’m not interested in hockey. So I don’t visit their NHL page
I am interested in MLB NBA NFL. So I visit those pages.
You all see how this works right?
Easy,
Yeah, we get it. Don’t like a site, don’t visit it.
My perspective is gambling can lead to issues like players’ families being threatened with violence, and I don’t want to support a site that does anything related to that part of the game.
You see how that works, right?
Players and their families are already threatened with mlbtr existing when they don’t perform to expectations esp come playoff time and someone goofs up big time costing their team or get caught doing something they’re not suppose to do.
You do realize that right? Astros families and players were threatened over the cheating issues plenty on here ppl going as far as suggesting throwing objects at them when they come to town. MLBTR does an ok job policing comment sections but you’re gonna get wackos coming out of the wood works being inappropriate on any site.
So you’re a hypocrite then cause you financially support mlbtr despite the issue already existing? Weird hill to die on but ok.
If you don’t believe me. MLBTR had to close the comment section on Pete Rose being removed from the ineligibility list.
They don’t close comment sections cause you’re all playing nice getting along and saying wonderful heartfelt sweet things about the deceased and to each other.
MLBTR constantly closes comments on controversial posts related to baseball cause this site can’t act right. And you’re worried about betting being the problem? News flash it’s already a problem which you financially support hypocrite.
mlbtraderumors.com/2025/03/manfred-petition-rose-i…
Your hill is “MLBTR” needs gambling content, something you can find many other places, so that’s a weird one to die on.
I have my view, you have yours, not sure what else is left to discuss.
Hypocrisy won’t get you very far in life.
To quote Indigo Montoya, “You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”
What am I doing that supports sports gambling?
Being a PITA won’t get you very far in life.
Hypocrisy thy name is gbs42
Hypocrisy – behavior that contradicts what one claims to believe or feel
Wasn’t it you who said and I quote “ gambling can lead to issues like players’ families being threatened with violence, and I don’t want to support a site that does anything related to that part of the game” gbs42?
So you’re against a gambling website cause you’re fearful ppl won’t act right.
But you already financially support the trade rumors websites who close down comment sections cause ppl can’t act right…..
Yeah that’s hypocrisy. You’re a hypocrite.
Congrats. You’re already related associated belong to that part of the game you don’t want. Your financial contributions keeping this site open lets people say awful stuff that gets comment sections closed down. You the real mvp.
“that part of the game” is the gambling part. People are going to be awful towards others for any number of reasons, and I can’t do much of anything about most of those. I don’t want to support the connection between gambling and baseball, and I can voice my opposition to MLBTR ever doing that.
Reading comprehension, thy name is *not* Easy as 1 2 3.
Denial isn’t just a river in Egypt gbs42. You’re a hypocrite and not a very good one. Facts are facts.
No the way you worded that comment was “that part of the game” was people being nasty as in you don’t want any part in people being nasty. Yet you already are. And now you wanna crawfish cause it’s being used against you.
Reread what you said “ gambling can lead to issues like players’ families being threatened with violence, and I don’t want to support a site that does anything related to that part of the game”
Word your comments better if you’re trying to convey a different message
I meant gambling, and I don’t care if you believe me.
Sure ya did. Your comment was primarily about bad behavior and ppl not acting right
If your comment was about gambling you’d have gone with
Not encouraging addictive behavior
Not encouraging addicts
Not supporting behavior that can impact people and their families negative.
That would imply you have issues with gambling. But that’s not what you said. You said you have issues with ppl not acting right and being mean towards players…..while you financially support a website where ppl don’t act right and su awful things about players on here.
My initial comment was, “Please no gambling content ever.” That was in response to your request/suggestion for gambling content.
Don’t try to tell me why I said something. I know why I said it, you don’t. Your inferences are not the same as my implications.
Your comment was pretty straight forward
Don’t try to duck it now that you got caught being a hypocrite
“ gambling can lead to issues like players’ families being threatened with violence, and I don’t want to support a site that does anything related to that part of the game” – gbs42 says while commenting this on a site that closes comment sections due to ppl having issues with players and each other.
“that part of the game” = “gambling”
If you don’t like my explanation, that’s on you. I’ve made my point repeatedly, and you refuse to accept it, trying to apply your interpretation to my words, and you’re wrong.
I’m done responding to your inaccurate statements. If you want to reply to get the last word in, go for it.
You got caught being a hypocrite and don’t like it. Easy solution is just don’t be a hypocrite you know.
Anyways. Betting website would be nice. And if you don’t like don’t visit it. Pretty simple.
Any concerns you have about a betting website and have expressed already happen on MLBTR when they shut down comment sections so moot point on your part.
You’re a great example of why the Mute button exists.
“ I’m done responding to your inaccurate statements. If you want to reply to get the last word in, go for it.” – gbs42
Just can’t stop being a hypocrite can you. You’re a great example of a hypocrite. Should put your picture next to the word in the dictionary.
Who says “I’m done” then comes back at their earliest convenience lmao?
Hey…
Easy – FTR, it’s not that this site “can’t act right” ….. there are no real moderators here, the writers do the moderating.
If given the choice between 1) Hiring moderators 2) Writers spending more time moderating which means less time writing 3) Closing the comments because they would need heavy moderation, I think most people would choose #3.
“Misinterpretation” is “Easy …”, gbs42.
His comments read like someone desperate to find “good” gambling advice. Or a mis-directed attempt to change a fundamental aspect of the site’s raison d’etre.
I would be willing to take the under on an over/under of 5.5 for him to be one of the first to threaten the source when the “expertise” necessary to provide “gambling advice” didn’t align with his expectations.
See, Easy.
Only if it’s degenerate gambler betting advice.
I just signed up. All these writers, whether you like their content or not, work hard and take a lot of time out of their day to give us something to read. There is always something of interest on this site. Besides, $30.00 a year is not that much money.
Sorry, Tim, MLBTR Front Office does not give a subscriber a bang for his buck….it’s more like a thermonuclear explosion for his buck. IMHO supporting MLBTR is easily worth twice your price.
I’ve been happy to support their hard work since Front Office started.
Definitely worth it if you have the cash to spare. Happy to support the MLBTR team and all of their hard work. Contract tracker is a really neat tool that I’ve used way more than I thought I would.
Ive said this before but I will say it again… near day 1 reader and long time supporter. You could charge double and this site would still be worth it. I visit multiple times a day. Please keep up the great work!
