Am I the only one to notice that as the chat goes on, Jeff’s answers get shorter and shorter? #Chat Fatigue!!! 🙂
Yes, you are the only one….
Just kidding. Actually, I’ve noticed it too. I wouldn’t call it fatigue, but these guys are always on deadlines so I appreciate that they have a time limit (and can only handle so many questions about Matt Wieters or the Braves’ wildcard prospects).
But he gets more Q & A in during the “championship round”, and I like his short, too-the-point answers throughout the chats anyways.
I think it’s just that I become more mindful as it goes on of trying to get to as many Q’s as possible. Or perhaps I find it harder to identify questions that are really worth thoughtful answers. But hey, I’m not getting any younger and maybe y’all just wear me down!
No complaints deserved, Jeff. These chats have gotten most of us through the baseball barren months, I’m sure. Appreciate MLBTR for your hard work.
If my comment came across as a complaint, I apologize. I like Jeff’s ability to handle lots of questions with succinct and worthwhile responses, plus his sense of humor.
I like Steve’s, Jason’s, and Jeff’s chats; I read every Q and A; and I look forward to them every time. In fact, I’d like more chats and/ or longer ones, but I know the staff has to keep putting up timely and interesting articles, which takes considerable research time.
Keep up the good work, MLBTR.

I like them all a lot too. It’s totally fine, I was just trying to be funny.
Although it would be fun if Jeff ended the last few minutes with a lightning round and saw how many questions he could answer in a set amount of time and tried to beat his personal best!
