Let them hate. We are champions and weren’t even at full strength. The future is bright!

When my team wins the World Series I will enjoy it, and not focus on any perceived slights by partisans of other teams. To do otherwise would be infantile or paranoid.

“Who are the potential release candidates?”
Jeez man, it’s right there at the top of the Outlook!
Does anybody even read these things?
And why reward laziness by answering questions like this?
Argh!!!

It is simply amazing to me that Jordan Hicks and Josh Hader get mentioned in the same breath. Hicks is going to break hearts somewhere.

Seager is a HOF talent but this season hardly put him over the top, as Mark suggested. He has 32 career rWAR and now is entering his 30s. He was injury prone in his 20s, and that generally doesn’t improve in a player’s 30s. Short of Mike Trout-level talent, most HOF cases are made (or unmade) in a player’s 30s. Seager has a lot of work still in front of him. I’d put him on a watch list as an intriguing candidate, but he needs another six years of high production (meaning 5 WAR seasons) to be a serious candidate. He’s built a nice foundation for his case, but now comes the hard part.

That Seager comment was in reference yo Bregman’s comment.
