As MLB’s offseason continues, here are three things we’ll be keeping an eye on around the baseball world throughout the day today:
1. Glasnow trade buzz:
News broke recently that the Dodgers and Rays were discussing a deal that would send Tyler Glasnow and Manuel Margot to L.A. in exchange for Ryan Pepiot and Jonny Deluca. No deal ultimately got done yesterday, and there have been reports of the Rays discussing Glasnow deals at a similar level of seriousness with other clubs. Could a deal come together soon? The 6’8” right-hander has struggled to stay healthy throughout his career but would be a major addition to the front of any would-be contender’s rotation; dating back to the 2019 season, Glasnow owns a 3.03 ERA and 2.89 FIP across 60 starts (332 2/3 innings).
2. Lee to undergo physical:
Star KBO outfielder Jung Hoo Lee recently agreed to terms with the Giants for six years and $113MM ahead of what should be his stateside debut. The final step in Lee’s move to MLB is expected to occur today as he undergoes a physical. That step in the process is usually a formality, though Giants fans will of course remember the Carlos Correa saga last offseason that saw him initially agree to a contract with San Francisco before the club backed out due to issues with Correa’s ankle. Lee, 25, underwent season-ending surgery in late July after sustaining a fractured ankle just this past season, though of course the Giants were well aware of that fact before engaging with the young outfielder.
3. Ohtani’s introductory presser:
Two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani is a Dodger, on a contract that shook the baseball world with its significant deferrals and unique conditional opt-out clause. Ohtani’s time in Dodger blue is expected to officially begin at 5:00pm CT this evening with an introductory press conference at Dodger Stadium, where both Ohtani himself and president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman will be available to the media. It will be Ohtani’s first media appearance since his 2023 season came to an end back in September. Ohtani underwent elbow surgery shortly thereafter, though specifics regarding the procedure have not been made available since.

Let the official Ohtani scrutiny begin. 2024 will be a bust for him.

How is it going for the Padres so far? Future looking bright?
Big whiffa
I’m interested to see what pads can pull off ! Them and giants. Everybody hates on those two GMs and they do that bc they are savvy. I got high expectations both teams improve quite a bit by end of FA
I think snell knows the best place for him to pitch is petco and the giants are so desperate they’ll be willing to make Yamamoto this highest paid pitcher in baseball
tedtheodorelogan
Giants are more than 100 games behind the Dodgers since Farhan took over. That is a huge stretch of the definition of the word savvy.
Balk
And what do the Dodgers have to show for it?
Big whiffa
Yeah but you are comparing that to the golden era of SF baseball. Like y’all are always suppose to compete w dodgers and that’s not true. Y’all got some really good players in a stretch before dodgers reclaimed their dominance.
BigGiantHead
Padres management is anything but savvy.
Big whiffa
Man u have no clue l. Just hatin.
Want to know why pads can’t afford to be over cap ? It’s bc they lost 2 first round picks being over the cap. Preller and his team are the best in baseball in identifying and drafting talent. They traded 3 blue chip prospects for soto and have already replaced them w 3 more blue chip prospects while most teams had 0 over that time.
Padres missed out on 10s of millions in prospect value being over the cap this year if Preller would hit on those two picks.
27champyankees
Zaidi’s Savvy??
Yeah, he’s going into year 6 in Frisco and has only built a roster that finished the season w/ a winning record 1 time….That’s pretty savvy

I agree to your point of Preller being shrewd talent evaluator. But the best? That’s silly sport fanatic talk.
Signing Xander seems to be a myopic headline maker to try to outshine their big brother. It moved Cronenworth into a suboptimal position and all but assured Soto would be gone.

drasco036
Be careful, I’m not a Padres fan but they made a fantastic move with the Soto trade. That was a big big win for them and if they can spend 200 million like estimated, they have room to add some players.
I don’t like Preller at all but I look at what that roster has, a sly GM could make some additional trades to clear a bit more payroll, add some additional talent and put up a solid solid team.
Unclemike1526
First guy who tells a Japanese Joke and Ohtani can opt out.
Unclemike1526
Or Cashman is the biggest sucker on the planet.
WillieS
So… should the padres go all out to land a top 5 batter in 2025 named Soto? That’s how teams think about success! I think the point is that the best, greatest players never equals a World Series championship! The 60’s Giants had 4 hall of famers ( Mays, Mccovey, Marichal and Perry) and won how many championships?
Longtimecoming
Drasco – as a long time Padres fan, I welcome your view. I offer as well the following: winning the off-season last year didn’t get a playoff spot. So how about a change of strategy? Maybe save up prospects and $$’s for the trade deadline? With so many WC spots and WC teams making the WS, maybe just start with a team that can stay a little above .500, save $$’s for 1/2 a season and then make moves at deadline for a playoff run.
Smaller budget teams can strategize to pay for August / September runs.
They do still have room to add a couple of pieces. Top guys – no. Middle – I think so.
All is not lost in SD as of today anyway.
drasco036
I don’t like Preller one bit, he’s ran that team into the ground. He had the top ranked farm system and was given an open wallet… traded away nearly the entire farm and spent like crazy putting the Padres in debt. This is the second time he burned the farm too. Then he turns and blames the manager every time.
Longtimecoming
And yet the Padres have 6 top 100 prospects – all 24/25 ready and 2 or 3 others that might make the list when it’s revised in a few months.
I’m neither pro Preller nor anti Preller. I’m a Padres fan and he is the only GM we have so I’m just saying they have a strong farm they can use to add at deadline and if they save their money now, they can position themselves for an August/September run as a strategy.
JoeBrady
make some additional trades to clear a bit more payroll
========================
I’d be curious to see how that can be done. Outside of Tatis & Kim, all of his contracts are under-water.
Longtimecoming
Joe if this was to me, I never said make trades to clear payroll.
Saving $$ was a reference to not spending $$ – foolishly on a 2x projected Lee or Lugo who got about 2 x his projected value. Go for mid range lower $$’s FA – they have 20-30 mil to spend.
The trades are to gain pieces at deadline and only have to pay them for 2 months instead of all year ala 25 mil to Glasnow or 15 mil for Burnes.
Longtimecoming
Joe – even Soto might be available at deadline with Yankees out and wanting to get one of their pitchers back!
JoeBrady
It was for Drasco.
Before the Soto trade, I thought Glasnow was a prefect target. IMO, they should’ve continued to go all-in for 2024, focus on expiring contracts, like Glasnow, and then reset the payroll tax in 2025 when Soto walked.
paddyo furnichuh
It will be interesting to see how things change with a different ownership head and the Bally bankruptcy.
Longtimecoming
I was looking at Burnes. PadsFan turned me on to Luzardo as a better option. Glasnow just seems to be a guy that deals with injury of some sort.
drasco036
Joe,
I was referring to Kim and Tatis or Kim or Tatis rather. Kim has so much surplus value they could deal him and get a very solid prospect package back in return. Move JC back to second and sign Hoskin, which I think would make a lot of sense for San Diego.
If the Padres wanted to, and were willing to take a bit less in return, they could package Tatis and Cronenworth together, get prospects back in return and clear approx. 20 million in payroll this year not to mention future obligations (specifically for Cronenworth). Again, you make that move and you can sign Hoskins still while getting ML ready prospects back in return.
As a Cubs fan, I really want Tatis at third. Part of the package would be moving Morel to San Diego, Morel and Hoskins give the Padres god value and are solid producers. Morel fills the DH/utility role. Padres could also ask for ML ready pitching (Wicks/Assad).
More would come from the Cubs but I think the ML ready talent or near would be a big win for the Padres, PCA replaces Grissom, Wicks or Assad in the rotation, Morel at DH/utility and id try for Canario as well. The Cubs would have to figure out something with JC or flip him
Longtimecoming
No on Tatis.

Considering they took away all the TV Revenue from the Padres what do expect .Thanks MLB
Unclemike1526
MLB and Manfred guaranteed all the money from the TV Revenue last season. Stop Whining. The deals your teams made just sucked. Own it.
oldguyG
Okay that was last year . If all of a sudden the revenue is taken away and an owner passes away and went for it with his last wishes fine I’ll own that with respect
Unclemike1526
Well the owner dying was definitely a downer. For all intent and purposes we’ve heard he was a great guy and loved baseball and will be missed. So I haven’t really heard what’s going to happen next? Does he have family members who are interested? Are they going up for sale? I’d be interested to know as not much has been said. The whole Diamond-Bally thing was a mistake from the beginning and depended on streaming rights so I don’t have any sympathy for the teams that jumped on the bandwagon instead of signing with more reputable TV stations, with profits tied to ad revenue. They gambled their futures with actual gamblers so they were bound to lose. It’s still a mess from what I’ve heard and has to be settled in court but I haven’t heard anything about how that’s going. You?
oldguyG
It was not all it was 80%last year and this year nothing and an owner that passed . There’s like 12 teams in limbo right now waiting on the mess go be settled . Be happy for your team , if you are not part of the Bally bankruptcy enjoy.
oldguyG
MLB picked up Padres and D backs they were dropped the twins expired and season end . 12 other teams were paid last year but MLB wants a solution ASAP . I believe there’s a court date tomorrow . MLB wont be able to pick up all the 12 other teams for MLB TV that are currently waiting their financial future TV . DSG says it can carry some so who knows . Preller went crazy with signings at the owners last wish but now it’s regroup with reality ! Fun while it lasted .
Unclemike1526
My team has it’s own TV station-Marquee. And even the White Sox have a decent TV affiliate in NBC Sports Chicago so I’m good.
padrepapi
Actually not too shabby. I think they could put together a nice lineup today with no additional additions aside from a DH if they were willing to go with rookies Merrill and Marsee in LF and CF from day 1. Ideally they would both start the years in the minors but not the end all if that wasn’t the case.
I expect Ethan Salas to be up really soon, talking mid 2025 at the latest and when that happens the DH spot gets taken care of as Luis Campusano who can slot in the DH spot and as the #2 catcher.
The pitching staff is in solid shape after getting 4 ready or near mlb ready arms back for Soto. I wish last year wouldn’t have sucked and essentially wasted Soto, but I have no qualms with the return and they will obviously be better off in ’25 and forward having made the trade and they really needed the arms this year.
Take the arms we received, add the the others that are likely to debut within a year (Snelling, Irate, Mazur) not to mention Lesko who is probably 2 years out but who has the highest ceiling of the bunch. It’s much easier to see a good and cheap rotation in the future today than it was two weeks ago.
The lineup still features 3 guys that were all 4-5 win players last year in addition to the guy that was #2 in MVP voting the previous year. Having youth in house to fill out the rest of the lineup in the near future (this year) helps avoid feeling all doom and gloom. And of course they still have what appears to be around 40m to add to this years roster.
You obviously have no idea what it was like to be a Padre fan during the lean years. That struggle was real. This is just the aftermath of having 4 bats that were all 4-5 win players along with the pitching staff that had the lowest era in baseball yet were damn close to having a losing record. Add in losing the beloved Peter Seidler and it was a very hard year. But, the future is bright.
I am looking forward to seeing more of Ohtani, just hope SD pitchers keep up their handling of him. Let him get his #’s elsewhere.
Zerbs63
Padres headlines include looking to take out another payday loan to be pay front office staff during off season.
99CaptainJudge99
Let’s face it, the real prize in this free agent class is Yamamoto. I don’t know how a player with no position in 2024 gets $700 million dollars? Easy pass on Ohtani, thank god he didn’t want to play in New York.

Even after they manipulated the money (which I’m cool with), ohtani can still only live up to his contract in any given year. Any year he’s not 1 or 2 in MVP voting – will be a year he didn’t live up to his contract.
pinstripeblue
Totally agree. He wins MVPs because he’s an elite player as both hitter and pitcher. The stats along in either hitting or pitching are not enough to accomplish that.
RunDMC
If finishing 1 or 2 in MVP is justification for the contract, he’s going to have a tough time routinely doing that in the NL, as opposed to the AL. I mean, someone wanna give Judge some competition for MVP the next few years?
Acuna, Freeman, Betts, Ohtani, Olson not including a healthy Harper, Goldy, Alonso (lol, jk) all in the same league. Someone’s gonna have an elite season (again) and not even finish in top-5 in MVP voting.
stymeedone
Its easy to take on Judge in MVP voting. Just wait for him to go on the IL!

Imagine this you’re riding in a bus next to Johnny Deluca…who’s that? I don’t know.
Compare that with being next to Ontanis greatness. You get a feeling of “wow” you’re playing next to a real baller.
Aside from his onfield production you get the intangible asset that is Ohtanis greatness; brings a sense of pride being on the team with him.
That’s like playing next to Kobe or Lebron compared to a no name YMCA guy.

Who’s Jonny Deluca? He’s a major league player and I’m sure that he’ll apologize to you for not being a unicorn like Ohtani.

I really laugh an All-Star $700 million dollars with no position in 2024. He’ll probably never pitch again. Lolololololol!!!
drasco036
You make good posts except when you’re being petty and you’re being very petty about Ohtani.
First, he does have a position, it’s starting pitcher and when he can no longer pitch, if that is eventually the case, he’s more than capable as an outfielder.
Second, teams medical staff know better than fans, they believe there is a very high probability he pitches again and at a high level.
Third, Ohtani is worth so much because of his marketing. There are obvious issues with him as this player hybrid, losing DH, needing to run a six man rotation, but the hundreds of millions he generates pushes his salary through the roof. The Dodgers own 50% of their tv deal and are going to pull a huge amount of viewership, significantly increasing their ad revenue. He pays his salary and then some.
The Yankees would have benefited from Ohtani more than the Dodgers, the Yankees already have a huge international following but owning 100% of YES, which is already a cash cow, would make revenue go through the roof.
Lastly, in terms of Pettiness, Yankees are spending 65 million themselves for players with no position. Soto and Stanton are both terrible fielders who need to DH.
RunDMC
@drasco036 – to be fair, the same reason you gave in that NYY benefits from Ohtani also applies to Soto (via ratings from YES ownership/ad sales). The 1-year price tag, even at 33M, and some prospects (which they had a slew of they can afford to lose) pales in comparison to Ohtani’s, even with the deferral. Look at this as being a tryout. If they’re competitive and TV ratings/ad sales on YES are up, they’ll have more complete info to make a great offer to him that most of the league wouldn’t be able to. Honestly, trading for Soto was a pretty great move for them, if nothing else, than at least throws a sacrifice to the insatiable NY media/fans that they’re doing something/anything to not repeat last year and keeping pace.
99CaptainJudge99
@drasco036- Thank you. I agree with you in regards to Stanton not really having a position anymore, he always gets hurt. Judge and Verdugo are both excellent defenders ,and Soto isn’t great with the glove. If Ohtani pitches 3 or 4 more years the Dodgers should just consider themselves lucky, and be careful with making Shohei a outfielder he could definitely hurt his arm again doing that. Probably the best thing for Ohtani is investing in a lst base mitt if he isn’t going to dh for 10 years. Not trying to be petty, just trying to make sense of this situation somehow. I feel Yamamoto is so much more valuable then Ohtani in NY truthfully for the Yankees or the Mets.
douglasb
reply to drasco036: Soto is not a “terrible fielder who needs to DH”. He played 154 games in the outfield last year and was not much below average.
drasco036
-9 OAA, -6 DRS bottom 3 percent defensively in the league. We have different definitions of “not much below average”… because he is apparently 47% below league average.
drasco036
Yeah but Soto doesn’t move the needle the way Ohtani does. It’s estimated Ohtani bring in 100 million himself per season, add significantly more when you own your network.

Even if the Rays gave the Dodgers Arozarena, Glasnow, and Margot for Pepiot and Deluca, its still lose for the Dodgers. 25M USD for a Pitcher that never healthy, a below .700 OPS OF with 12M USD salary with WAR below 1.
Gambling with Pepiot and Deluca seems more logical IMHO

I don’t at all. Pepiot is an unproven prospect still. It doesn’t matter how good your ERA is when u have never been stretched out for a season.
Rays know this, leaked the offer, and are now waiting for a better offer. As a reds, I’m happy to offer more than the value of pepiot to get Glasnow !

Glasnow has been a major leaguer for 9 seasons and hasn’t ever been stretched out as a starter. He only has one season over 100 innings.

Not at all. I am amused by the sheer number of people that don’t understand present value and discounts, and refuse to listen when it is explained to them.
Once upon a time, it would’ve made me fear for the future of America, but I think that ship has sailed.
Jean Matrac
Joe, I understand all about the money and present value, and the future value of the $700M. I just think deferring money should not be allowed to mitigate the CBT hit. Deferring money was a way for small and mid-market teams to sign FAs, and maintain capital to be able to function as they’d like.
I don’t think it was ever intended to be used as a CBT dodge. I think the owners will want to revisit this in the next CBA, but unfortunately the genie is out of the bottle, and the union is probably happy with it as it is. I think using deferrals to lower the CBT hit will only increase the gap between the haves and have-nots.
Cam
The ability to defer, like what the Dodgers did, is a tool available to every team. Your thinking is that it was made an option to primarily help the small-to-mid market teams, but the key issue is that there are certain teams that don’t want to spend regardless.
You can lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to water, but you can’t make them drink. It’s not the Dodgers fault that a number of team owners only want to collect profits, and aren’t interested in winning.
Jean Matrac
I agree that there are certain teams that don’t want to spend. But how many teams can offer a player 10/$700M, even deferring a huge chunk of it?
Admittedly the outcome is the same in that small and mid-market teams will still be outbid by the rich teams. But using deferred money to offset the CBT hit encourages that outbidding, because they can so, but with a reduced penalty.
The CBT was supposed to help level the playing field. Allowing the wealthiest of teams to make enormous offers and lower what their tax would be, does not reflect the intent of the CBT.

This is what happens when unknowldagble people talk about things that they don’t understand
1) Ohtani is not making the league minimum. He’s making $46,000,000 per year. The Dodgers are investing $44 million of that for 10 years on his behalf
It’s like someone earning $46,000 a year with a 401K. They are making $46,000 a year. They are not receiving all of it, but that’s their salary.
Or it’s like someone making $46,000 a year and paying into social security. They aren’t taking home $46,000 a year
But no one making $46,000 a year says they earn $30,000 because they pay taxes and pay into Social Security and their 401K.
And, yes, it is exactly the same as Scherzer’s contract.
46-44=2
Is the exact same as
30-15=15
Just a bunch of people whining about something they don’t understand.
iml12
There is a great article on the athletic about this very thing. It also points out the accounts do not need to be funded with cash or stocks and teams also use the value of assets to not fund them at all. So no the dodgers are likely not taking 44 million dollars a year and setting it aside for Ohtani. They are paying him 2 million dollars in cash. This theoretically frees up 44 million dollars to spend on other players but thanks for the lesson.
JoeBrady
This is what happens when unknowldagble people talk about things that they don’t understand

Did you ever heard the phrase “You shouldn’t get into a fight with a pig, because you can’t win, and after a while, the pig begins to enjoy it”?

Why Dodgers have the money and deferrals to blow out any offer as its obvious they could care about deferred payments as the next owners will end up forking that bill when Dodgers ownership sells the team
Salvi
“Why”?
Because the entertainment business is all about ‘Marketing’. They just sold a ‘X’ number of Ohtani jerseys, and ‘Y’ number of new tickets. Signing Yamamoto for $300-400M will sell an additional 1/10 of ‘X’ and 1/10 of ‘Y’. And thats because 90% of the fans have already reacted to the first signing.
Not one of the Top 5 FAs from the past 6 years have signed with the same team. Simply put, its because youre working against yourself marketing wise. Just wait another year and you can sign a new Jersey Sales Bonanza guy.

=================================
1-There need not, and probably won’t be any liability. The LAD will take the $44M they save off of the actual payment, hand it over to an investment bank, get 5% of the money, while the investment bank invests in AAA corporate bonds at 5.7%, all the while incurring a 4.43% liability to Ohtani.
2-Even if the LAD are allowed to keep the money, the new owners, if any, will simply deduct the liability from the purchase price.

27champyankees
This is correct. Farhan thinks it makes sense to give 132 MILLION Dollars ( including posting fee) to a KBO hitter that just had ankle surgery 4 months ago
The pitching in the KBO is Ass
So, The history of KBO hitters succeeding in MLB is bleak. These guys get absolutely manhandled by big league arms.
You can count on one hand the guys that actually have hit enough to stick around for a few seasons.
mlbdodgerfan2015
Seems like KBO hitters have to adjust to MLB pitching and a lot of that is on velocity. MLB pitchers in general throw much harder. So some hitters need a season or two to adjust and some never really adjust.
That is different from prospects growing up in the U.S. as they face hard throwers even in the minor leagues. So they’re already used to velocity.

From what I’ve read Boras doesn’t operate like that. He doesn’t do the “you need to be this number”. He sells the player and asks teams to “assert” themselves. Teams have to guess what will get it done, and if they really want a player, it promotes an overpay. The more they “want”, the greater the overpay.

As a Rays fan, I hope the Pepiot for Glasnow rumors are true. That trade could be a steal. Plus, we need MLB ready starting pitching if we’re going to lose Glasnow.
Dotnet22
Who’s becoming more annoying to hear about Ohtani or Taylor Swift?
YankeesAreDodgersEast
The people who hate on Ohtani are more annoying, because the sight of grown men getting jealous is sad.
Dotnet22
That wasn’t an option, try again.
foppert2
Ha ha. Yes.
There is a parallel. My teenage daughter lost friends because she got Swift tickets and they didn’t.

So, what you’re saying is that the Ohtani Whining Society are acting like a bunch of teenage girls? LOL love it!
Wire to wire 2024
As a reds fan the dodgers can have ohtani and Glasnow and even Yamamoto, I just wanna see the reds pick up cease for a fair package.

60 Career Starts for Glasnow, that is the number that is hard to believe for a frontline starter who debuted in 2016. Just one season of even 15 or more games started…
He is probably so bad in the playoffs because it is such a long haul for him to stay healthy and fresh that late in a season.
Steve Adams
88 career starts. 127 MLB appearances. Nick was just citing 2019 (his first full season with the Rays) onward.
JoeBrady
The people that make these decisions are more likely to focus on his recent work, not the results from 5 years ago.
Just imho, the key Glasnow stat is that he missed only one start in the final four months. I don’t know if LV handles this type of wager, but I’d bet on > 20 starts.
SoCalHardBall
Im a Dodger fan. Too early to give up on Pepiot with his salary and control for a pitcher who is always hurt and making $25mm for possible one year rental. And Margo stinks
OhioDodger
I sure hope this rumored trade does not happen. It makes no sense from not only a baseball standpoint, but from a financial standpoint.. $37M or Glasnow and Margot compared to $1.6M for Pepiot and Deluca.
SoCalHardBall
exactly my thought process too
DevoPettis
Ohtani has similar language in a potential Angel deal. But his opt out was if Minasian and Moreno STAYED.
fansincethe80s
Yawn. Get some new material.
Old York
So, he’s going to fail the physical and the Mets will swoop in and sign him only to also not like the results of the physical and then the Twins will ultimately take him on.
YankeesAreDodgersEast
Would like to remind all crybabies that the dodgers passed on signing Seager, Turner, Turner, Martinez, etc, all for Shohei.
JoeBrady
So the choice was between signing Ohtani for $46M or signing Seager, Turner, Turner, Martinez for a combined $46M?
The619MetroPadres
Glasnow to the Friars anyone? A rotation of: Yu Darvish/Joe Musgrove/Mike King/Randy Vasquez/Tyler Glasnow would allow us to slay the Dodger Dragon for a second time in three years.
The Former Player
Worst contract of all time. He will be 30 this season and wont be able to be a 2 way player again until the season he turns 31 and who knows how long he will be able to do that. It would have been the worst contract of all time at 50 million a year and arguably 40 million a year. 70 million just blows it away and ohtanis shady behavior and contract language are also not a good look at all. He will average around 3 war per season, that’s it. He is not going to be able to handle his aging decline, going from the dim lights of Anaheim to the bright lights of Los Angeles, the pressure of the ridiculous contract, the pressure of pitching at pre-surgery peak levels, etc. The fans will turn on him within 4 years.
The619MetroPadres
You are 100 percent correct: Mlajamise. Nicely put. Signed- Carp.

Lee’s ankle injury wasn’t a fracture. Get your fact straight.

Buster Posey says San Francisco drug and crime problems hurt their possible Ohtani signing.
foppert2
That doesn’t surprise. Japan is the polar opposite of the rep. San Francisco residents are going to hate it, but that rep is also international. The street clean up for Xi Jinping made it so.
Jack Dawkins
The Giants need to concentrate on players from 3rd World countries whose main interest is securing the biggest bag of money possible. 1st World players like the Japanese are turned off by the filth in the streets of San Francisco and will never sign there.
Guayacon
Dodgers win 115 games this season and won’t get past the nlcs like alway
loumickeyjeter
Barring the rays refusing to trade him, I’m not seeing why the Yankees are not in on glasnow
douglasb
How many seasons of this contract do people think Ohtani will live up to the value of the contract based on WAR? I am going with an over/under of 1.5 seasons. To be fair, that’s the same number of seasons that I would put on Judge’s contract.
