In recent weeks, Trade Rumors Front Office subscribers have enjoyed team-by-team deep dives in our new Trade Deadline Outlook series. We’re happy to be able to provide that type of longer-form original content. It’s your support that makes it happen. If you’re on the fence about a Trade Rumors Front Office subscription, consider that we offer a 100% money-back guarantee. You have nothing to lose, yet requests for refunds have been rare because we’re providing great value for your $29.89 per year or $2.99 per month. You can view all the benefits as well as subscriber testimonials here.
As I mentioned in June, those prices have been in place for five years now. Due to unfavorable trends regarding ad rates and traffic, in August we are enacting our first-ever price increase to $34.99 per year or $3.99 per month. That’s still a great deal!
However!!! You can still lock in the old price of just $29.89 per year, for a full three years! That’s over $15 in savings! Anyone who signs up for Trade Rumors Front Office prior to 8-1-25 and keeps auto-renewal on will enjoy the grandfathered $29.89 annual price until 8-1-28! You’ve got only ten days left to do this.
Sign up right now so you can enjoy the site without ads, indulge in exclusive articles and chats every week, and use cool tools like our MLB Contract Tracker. We don’t do sales, but grandfathering in for three years at the old price is about as close as it’s going to get.
Steve Adams, Anthony Franco, Darragh McDonald, Mark Polishuk, Nick Deeds, and Leo Morgenstern are gearing up for another exciting MLB trade deadline on July 31st, and I’ll be helping out as well. It’s all hands on deck here as MLBTR prepares for its 20th trade deadline. We’ve come a long way since I was flying solo on MLBTR’s trade deadline coverage 20 years ago and the Dodgers were adding guys like Julio Lugo and Greg Maddux. MLBTR is now better than ever, and I appreciate everyone who is still along for the ride (whether paid or ad-supported).
If you’re like me, I guarantee that you have some other subscription that you’re paying for and not using that costs more than an MLBTR subscription. So if you’re a regular visitor to this site, do what I did and cancel that thing and reallocate some of it to MLBTR.
I’m a subscriber with a price that renews in September. If my auto-renew is on how can I take advantage of this lower-priced three-year commitment?
From the article now: “Anyone who signs up for Trade Rumors Front Office prior to 8-1-25 and keeps auto-renewal on will enjoy the grandfathered $29.89 annual price until 8-1-28!” so I believe that includes people like you and me.
You’ll automatically get the lower price when it renews in Sept 2025, Sept 2026, and Sept 2027.
So our next 3 auto-renewels will remain grandfathered? My auto-renewel date is in January, so that would be 26,27,28 then price would increase in ’29?
Yes. Anyone who signed up prior to 8-1-25 and has auto-renew on will renew at $29.89 per year for all renewals that occur prior to 8-1-28.
Best website ever !! I visit here and the basketball site several times a day. Best source of the latest info.
I’ve been meaning to subscribe but kept putting it off, glad you gave us notice so that I could get locked in at the lower price. Looking forward to being able to see even more content on here, you guys do a great job and happy to finally be supporting.
How do we check on our renewal date? I think I already have auto renewal. How do I check that? So much to do, so little time.
It should say that here:

Let me know if not.
Thanks Tim, great deal and my only subscription.
Worth every penny! Good work fellas.
I’m really happy with my subscription
I’ve followed this site for a looooong time. Back when Tim wrote every piece. Constant source of great baseball news and chatter.
I’ve always been on the fence of signing up. I’ve always felt it’s missing just a little something that makes it feel not quite worth it to me. I’ve been following this site since the early 2010’s and I’m inclined to do it to help, but I wish I got something just a little extra out of it. Old days SI when you’d get something gear sent to you or a shirt with my teams logo and mlb trade rumors logo on it also if I signed up for the yearly subscription. Y’all once upon a time had a Braves only writer I believe on Facebook. If I paid, maybe more articles on my favorite team. Obviously yall know ur business model better than I do, but in my opinion it’s missing something. Still love the content. still gonna come back even if that means I pay or have to labor through more ads
For the price of one night of beers with your buddies, you get more content and no ads.
Yep, there’s several ways to look at it. I’m with you on most of what you write.
I guess the thing for me is the frequency of my visits.
I’m here at least a few times a day and even more often leading up to the trading deadline or winter free agency.
The writers cover every aspect of any story I’m looking for and it’s easy to click on the name for the player baseball reference link.
I just love it and it’s my only subscription.
Skip one burger and iced tea night at Applebee’s and this is paid for.
And if Tim says 30 bucks helps them out, I’m all for it.
@bravesfan: There is quite a bit of content available only for subscribers. Plus we have subscriber chats where it is much easier to get your questions answered because there are way less people asking questions. That is something extra.
The problem is paying the writers and then dictating what can/can’t be said through membership or not.
It’s not the most sustainable business model believe me I’ve deep dived this on my ip ban rightfully overturned.
I still use rumors but what was great is now 75/25 Paywall stuff now.
The content is worth it though, but it’s not what rumors built itself up to be vs what it’s become stuff.
This is one long-term contract that has a lot of surplus value. It’s definitely going to age well.
I love it. Thank you MLBTR.
If auto renew is off, how can I turn it back on?
I would do it… but as often as I get banned from this site, I doubt they give refunds.
Ip ban favors subs vs non subs. Mine was overturned appropriately though.
Hope yours was valid to get it back if you did end up getting one too.
Rumors now feels like new era survivor.
Its still rumors it’s much better stuff but it’s not the same but we l refuse to leave or do it ourselves.
Tim gave me a great model off it though when I got mine. I just haven’t had the time to launch unfortunately.
