Rockies will find out Scutaro is a gamer and serious all out gamer. hopefully he has an outstanding + healthy season and when the season is over, considers staying there as either the 2b, or a super utility role if they can give him the AB. Was shocked he was hitting leadoff the 1 game watched for a few minutes Friday or saturday when was going through some various games, but even there, he will take some pitches and maybe that is something that team needs as he is good at getting on base, though he is not very fast on the paths.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wouldn’t the Rockies require a real pitching staff in order to contend?

Anybody- well anybody except the Padres, anyway- could take that division. But my money’s on the D’backs, mainly ’cause Gibby seems to know how to get the most out of his players.

As much as I’d like the think the Dodgers have a shot at it, they’ve just still got a few holes to fill (and Uribe sure ain’t looking like the comeback kid we hoped for so far). I do think they have enough to fight with the Giants for 2nd.
