Rollie's Mustache
Postseason baseball north of the border for the first time in 22 years and the GM could be out of a job? Only Rogers could pull off a PR gaffe like that. For Anthopoulos sake I hope something is worked out with the Jays.
Rally Weimaraner
The issue is Anthopoulos not wanting to serve as a GM with limited power not Rodgers not offering him a contract.
Rollie's Mustache
I understand that. My point was that it’s strange that Rogers may not be offering autonomy to the man who just ended the longest postseason drought in baseball. Or, perhaps more to the point, to the man who just made his owner tens of millions of dollars more than they have in many, many years.

Maybe Mark Shapiro thinks that the Blue Jays traded away too much for David Price and sacrificed the future by losing Norris and Boyd(two young starters). The Jays have to fill holes in their pitching staff this winter.

the blue jays, red sox and angles are in the NL east?
Mike McLellan
AA should absolutely stick to his guns. He has earned his respect and should have full control of the baseball team.
go_jays_go
absolutely. more money on a contract doesn’t make up for the lost power and lost control over a franchise.

Phillies “big opportunity” = hire a 35yr old GM, DO NOT make him available for comment during the first week of his tenure and RAISE TICKET PRICES AFTER 99 LOSSES.
-Par for the course really;
Eagles PRE-SEASON parking : $75
I dare either org. to justify or even comment in any form to these 2 issues.
