I want Orlando to stay, but he's self-centered and I have to wonder if he will just leave after the season.

Ozzie needs to yell at Thome and Konerko for forgetting how to hit a baseball too. :)

For a good laugh check out some of the Yankee posts from the winter.
My favorite were the "Betemit/Ensberg could platoon and provide better than LA production at 3rd base if A-Rod walks." It's amazing what people were thinking back then.
Next best were the predictions of Hughes, Kennedy and Joba sharing the Cy Young. They were all going to be dominant, healthy, and top players. Kennedy and Joba would simply replicate their 20 inning performances over the course of 200 innings and Hughes would be healthy and crush people.
To think that Kennedy was a sticking point in the Johan trade ...

As for Cabrera ... not a big fan of "selfish" players but I am somewhat sympathetic. Cabrera's livelihood is steeped largely in his statistics, particularly his fielding stats. In the cases listed Cabrera was correct and the errors were reversed.
In the real world I also make sure that I am evaluated properly by my boss. I get steamed when someone else screws up but it reflects on my performance. I too would make sure to set the record straight.

Never heard anything like this when OC was on the Angels for 3 seasons. Maybe Ozzie is the problem.

wow. i could not help but get the feeling that, with a few notable exceptions, this post is full of a bunch of scrubs!

should have traded Miller at the beginning of the season before his inevitable injury. and julio getting dfa'd is no big surprise, his outings were more memorable for the fights he'd get into with the catcher than his pitching.

jacklaf are u calling Jay Bruce a scrub? if so u must of been somewheres for the past say 5 months

notice how i prefaced that statement with the words "with a few notable exceptions." that would include jay bruce, who is most certainly not a scrub. keep in mind, however, that he has not proven anything in the majors yet. that's not to say that he won't, but think about homer bailey's short-lived first ML stint. no, i was referring to ensberg, miller, latroy hawkins, bret boone, jeff weaver, jorge julio. correct me if i'm wrong but that list seems like a bunch of scrubs to me.

I read an interesting blog post about Blalock earlier from another Rangers fan http://hankblalock.wordpress.com/ that thinks the club should at least get him or get him proper carpal tunnel treatment and stop just giving him cortisone shots.
