thatd woulda been great.. our loss with pena... im glad the rays gave him a chance tho and allowed him to prove himself as a great player..

come on GoSox thats a bit greedy. There is not that big of a drop-off between Lowell and Pena. Thats like saying imagine a Twins line-up if they didn't give up on Ortiz. Now for the Yankees thats another story they need production from 1B and also have needed a good defensive 1Bman as well.

I'm glad that the Yanks, Red Sox and Maddon all admit that the only reason Pena is a Ray is because they had roster flexibility because they sucked; this, along with the fact that upton, longoria, price and garza are all carrying the Rays right now will hopefully make people realize that they would not be winning without their high picks and years of not having to win and selling off their players...hopefully tim/cork stop trying to isolate moves to argue that the Rays could have been good without this...

Immagine a lineup like that..
and pena wouldda been cheaper than lowell (at least for two years or so
and i also said im glad he found a role and produces..
i didnt say i wanted that lineup..although itd be nice..
yeah, id take it
