« D'Backs Offer Arb To Cruz, Lyon, Hudson; Not Dunn | Main | Phillies Decline To Offer Arbitration To Burrell, Moyer »
According to MLB.com's Joe Frisaro, the Marlins declined to offer arbitration to Type B free agents Arthur Rhodes, Luis Gonzalez, and Paul Lo Duca. Rhodes might've been worth the risk, but the Marlins will play it safe.

I'm very surprised to learn that Lo Duca was a Type B...

i surprise they didn;t offer arb to rhodes, he was great and has alot of possible suitors, and marlins and rhodes haven;t spoken during the offseason , so he know they're not interested. Also, a compensation draft pick replaces Gaby Hernandez(kindly of a disappoint in my mind)
