Braves Release Phil Stockman

The Braves are paring down their roster.  According to MLB.com's Mark Bowman, the team released pitcher Phil Stockman today.  Stockman has dealt with various injuries over the last few years and is out of options.

Bowman adds that multiple teams have inquired on Braves reliever Buddy Carlyle, who had a solid '08 with a 3.59 ERA and 8.47 K/9 in 62.6 innings.
