Yankees Sign Dustin Moseley

The Yankees signed Dustin Moseley and invited him to Spring Training, according to a team press release. The Angels non-tendered the right-hander after he pitched in just three games last season. Moseley had forearm and elbow injuries before undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left hip in August.

In parts of four seasons as a swingman, Moseley, 28, has a 5.41 ERA with 5.3 K/9 and 2.8 BB/9 over the course of 168 innings.

The Yankees are ruining baseball by signing all the high priced free agents like Moseley. If the Pirates had a chance at Moseley they’d be in the playoffs every year too.

Mosely could potentially be a good signing. He has shown a lot of promise in the pass. Good move by NYY to invite him to camp. Good luck, Dustin.

If healthy he could give you 180 innings of sub 5.00 ERA baseball. Not anything exciting but also not terrible.

The Yankees now just went from about a 100 win team to a 162 win team
