Hope Lin gets a shot with the Astros – he was always kind of a personal favorite of mine.
Devern Hansack
Same. His defense will play well in that spacious outfield. He’s definitely going to be valuable there.

U beat me to it this time Devern 🙂
Yeah.. Houston.. No pressure.. Probably better in the long run he got out of Boston.. Some of us liked him, but if the team wasn’t going to give him a chance when people like Nava were getting 200PA.. Realistically.. His career was better off elsewhere.
Think the main 3 people here who liked him are “us” 3 in this topic anyway..

As an Astros fan, I already like him more than Kfer. (Schafer)

Wait till Houston gets to see him play “D”. he was said to have been the best defensive OF in the entire Sox system with a really good arm, good plate discipline also.. Too patient if anything. problem is he is just a slap hitter.

Sounds similar to Brandon Barnes(although Lin may be better). Couldn’t hit at all, but played really good defense after being called up in September.

Stauffer would be a solid pickup for the Yanks

Lin…patient hitter, plays CF, 24 years old, some SB ability…why not, who knows?
Let_My_Cameron_Go
Is Houston big enough for two Lins?

Someone start a petition to have Lin’s jersey number changed to 7.
