Good point on Reynolds and hadn’t thought of.. 7.5m in 2012 and far less than 13m his option was for. Could offer…9.. *maybe* 10m if they want to go that way.
Nosferatu Zodd
9millionish is what he could get in arbitration.

Yeah.. Was what figuring in above post. That.. Maybe 10. Duquette has a month to see what he and Youk will sign for and figure out which way he wants to go. Reynolds also know arbitration reached deals are *not* guaranteed, so both side probably would prefer to reach an agreement beforehand if Duquette really wants him back.

I think that for the money, Reynolds compares favorably to Youkilis. His defense is better, and while he won’t hit for as high an average Youk didn’t really get any better in Chicago than he was in Boston.

I still get confused when his name is presented simply as “Roberto Hernandez” and there is no clarification that he was formerly Fausto Carmona.
I keep thinking it’s the now-retired relief pitcher.
LazerTown
Same. Fausto used to be a young potential top arm, but his age change, really destroyed his value.
