So, in the end, the Marlins got 2 minor leaguers from San Francisco for McGehee… and now McGehee is back on their team, with the Giants paying most of his salary…
As a Giants fan, I hope he goes 0-100 just to make it so the Giants don’t completely lose this trade. Yikes.

Was hoping he’d do well for us. Maybe he can enjoy the success he had in Miami again.
Non-tendered
of course there was no need for the Mets to have a made a push for this 3B, oh wait …

As a Giants fan, I’m not surprised or should be I that he could go back to the Marlins. But as a Giants fan I’m probably a few of the fans are happy to see him no longer with the Club, Duffy = far better.

I’d say most Giants fans are happy to see the back of him. I’m glad they didn’t stick with him too long and gave Duffy a fair shot at the job, at least.

TWO! A DOUBLE PLAY!!

McGehee was horrible with the Giants. He couldn’t hit for average or power, didn’t field or throw all that well, and certainly didn’t run well. Add to that his ridiculous rate of grounding into double plays and I think he just might be the first minus tool player in MLB history. That said, hopefully Casey can find his way again with the Marlins.

Somebody’s getting traded…..most likely Morse and Prado……a savings of about $9 million for the rest of this year alone……and almost $20 million in 2016.

We’ll continue rooting for him.
