Can someone please explain what the peanut gallery was? Reading this chat was the first time i ever heard of it and i only recently started using trade rumours
Ya first I heard of it too
It was a running commentary feature that allowed readers of the chat to make remarks about each question and answer. It had a peanut as a logo that you clicked to add a comment. You could vote up or down too.
Some knucklehead(s) abused it to make juvenile comments over the course of several chats, plus they impersonated Jason Martinez as a nasty dude to boot. So it looks like MLBTR dropped the feature as a result.
Since they couldn’t moderate it and it attracted such jerks, dropping it was a good idea.
Sounds like it would have been a good thing to have in the chats, it’s a shame a few people ruined it for everyone

Ahh it was just about a year ago that everyone was losing their minds over this kid. Part of me misses him
“What player who’s career was shortened by either injury or misfortune do you wish you could have seen more of?”
The answer to this question should be Eric Davis. He was Mike Trout back in the late 80s only he kept getting hurt so never had that full big season.
Perhaps Steve is too young to have seen Eric.
