Matt Morris Receives Offer From Giants
It's no great mystery, but my sources have confirmed that the team with the three-year deal on the table for Matt Morris is the San Francisco Giants. The deal is expected to be in the range of $24MM.
Morris is projected to go 11-13 with a 4.45 ERA and 1.36 WHIP for the Giants in 2006.
Thanks to Alex S.

these projections are crazy. Morris is a proven grinder, he will be 15-9 with a 3.70 ERA for who ever he starts.

Nah brah. Man he really grinded (ground?) his way to that 5.32 second half ERA.

Such a grinder he didn't make the cardinals playoff roster. i hope this is a fake, for my giants sake.

Umm, Morris was indeed on the Cards' playof roster. Won one game against SD, lost one against Houston.

i SBC park or AT&T park will be a good place for morris to pitch since it is a pitchers ballpark

It's a neutral ballpark. If anything, it leans slightly towards hitters.
