A guy on a Blue Jays board says Rosenthal is reporting a brain aneurysm. That sucks.

I hate this so much. I was admittedly broken-hearted earlier this year when Hammy died and this brings that back. It's hard to wrap my mind around someone of that age passing. I'm about 8 years younger than Kennedy and just don't understand why these things happen.
RIP Joe.

I never understand why these things have to happen...
RIP to Joe and my condolences and prayers to his family

What a terrible thing to greet me with the first site I look at today. RIP Joe and condolences to his family. Far too young.

Unbelievable. Another young death. Certainly makes you think about your own mortality...
I really, really hope this wasn't caused by something he was taking...

What a horrible thing to hear. This is following a day where we give thanks to those we love--Thank you Joe for playing the game you love the right way. Many prayers to the Kennedy family.
Let us all continue to be thankful--this is an example how everything can crash down with the blink of an eye.

Wow.. This is shocking. I just watched him pitch in Toronto a couple of months ago. RIP Joe.

you always hate to see something like this, and during a holiday, it just makes it even worse.
I was really hoping that the Cardinals would have made a push to try and sign Kennedy this offseason as I thought he was about to have a breakout, or at least a solid year.

samael he wasn't with the A's anymore, he was with the Blue Jays. The D'backs claimed him off waivers from the A's towards the end of the season then designated him for assignment and he signed with tToronto

joe is truly one of the nicest players in the game. on two separate occasions, one in balitimore one in san diego he took time out of warm-ups to talk to my dad and me. i cant say enough how bad i feel and how all my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. really was one of the good guys
RIP thoughts and prayers with your family
