Very good Q&A here. Cashman was very candid and thoughtful in his answers here...

You know, that isn't THAT bad a price for Roberts, given that he is right around Juan Pierre at the plate, with a bit more power and probably a better glove. I do think that moving Durham should be a priority, as he has seen a major drop off in skill. Then again, I don't see how much they could get for him.

I use this site if I want to look up info on Japanese, of even Koren & Chinese players quite often. They seem to update constantly with links and info, plus give stats for the players. You can see that they already have a page up for Matsuo, updated with his BoSox contract and some links…

Hope it helps everyone…

I really don't understand why Durham is batting 5th today, ahead of Aaron Rowand.

I'd be shocked if the Giants found any takers for Ray Durham. There aren't exactly many teams with a need for a crappy hitting, crappy fielding, expensive, aging, second baseman/
Roberts cold find a home because he's capable of being a decent leadoff hitter and fielder. He still holds some value as a baseball player. Maybe not at 2/13, but I could definately see a team being interested at 2/8

Who would you rather have, Juan Pierre or Dave Roberts? Pierre would have to be more expensive, I imagine.
