The Cubs signed a Korean high school shortstop named Lee Hak-ju. Aaron Shinsano, who works for the Cubs as a scout, says the team believes he'd have been a first round pick in the states.
Ya know, with so many teams releasing guys its rather shocking to me that teams are still holding out for semi-desirable parts in return for players they are cutting. How can the Tigers not work out a deal for basically anyone knowing they get nothing if they hold their ground? Same goes for the RedSox over Tavarez… Seems rather foolish…
the sox should eat all the tavarez money and get hynick if that is the problem, im pretty sure thats not it though.

I am interested to see where Garland goes. The Angels don't need him. Perhaps San Diego or Boston?
